** Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard **

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Jeffie was not there because he had exploded and he was dead. Thor was not
there because he was attending Nipplepalooza and visiting his trusty steed,
Shoebox. Pepe was not there either, because, well, who knows why, or where
he was. Steve and Sandy Sanderson were there. Well, actually, Steve was
there very briefly, just long enough to drop his little sister off so she
could see Santa. Steve said he wasn't staying, as he was going to
Nipplepalooza to hang out with his new best friend, Jeffie. When they asked
him how Sandy would get home, Steve wasn't overly concerned about that. He
said he would try to find someone to send to pick her up. It obviously
wasn't a high priority of his, he was anxious to go be with Jeffie. Soon
Santa arrived. Sandy was all decked out, with red and green rubber bands
holding her braces especially for the occasion (they asked her why she
hadn't gotten the ones with flashing red and green Christmas lights, like
they had told her to, and she said that she had asked her dentist about
that, and they don't make those, so she had had to settle for just plain red
and green ones). She was also still lisping greatly, and spraying spit
whenever she had to say words with S's in them. Sandy was introduced to
Santa. She was very excited, telling Santa that she had come all the way
there because she wanted to see him and tell him what she wanted for
Christmas, and that she had come there last week too, because she thought he
would be there, but he hadn't been. She told him she wanted a hamster with
all the equipment needed to go with it, cage, exercise wheel and so forth,
and a Britney Spears Greatest Hits CD. Santa said she could have the
hamster, but didn't seem too hot on the CD. He said she could name the
hamster Britney Spears. Sandy was still critical of the radio show, and was
actually rather rude and insulting, saying that everything sucked. Obviously
this child was not raised to be polite, parenting skills apparently were a
bit lacking. Santa enlightened us some more (as he did last year, clearing
up myths about how things are, and giving us the real facts), on life at the
workshop. He told us how he likes to set the elves on fire and watch them
run around and into each other, like elf pinball. We also learned from him
that all those Santas you bring your children to see in the stores, are all
imposters, all drunks pulled out of alleys for the task. Santa read some
"true" facts about Mr. T and Chuck Norris. And we also learned that Santa
shares something in common with Just Joe from The Last Exit... Santa is a
big Dio fan. Well, as he pointed out, Dio was in a band called Elf, and
Santa does know a lot about elves after all. It was getting late and was way
passed Sandy's bed time (Santa was also ready to leave, and it was arranged
that he would drop Sandy off home in his SUV, one of the myths that he set
us straight on last year was that he does not drive a sleigh, he drives an
SUV). Before they left, Sandy asked if she could sit on Santa's lap and tell
him what she wanted for Christmas (no comment, you can supply your own dirty
thoughts for that, I'm sure). :) Santa said he guessed it was ok, as long
as any officials who might be listening were clear that the only reason a
fourteen year old girl was on a middle aged Italian guys (one who carts
around a lot of porn at that) lap, was just because of Christmas. Sandy got
on Santa's lap. And immediately her braces got badly tangled in his beard.
They both began yelling. Joe and Rick went in to try and get the two of them
separated. At the next break Sandy and Santa were gone, and there was beard
and green and red rubber bands ALL OVER the floor, as they said they had had
to cut off Santa's beard, and totally take apart Sandy's braces to get them
apart. Wow, I'm sure Sandy's parents will be thrilled about that, with the
high cost of dental bills and all, in this litigious society of ours, I'm
sure they'll sue, at Least Santa's beard will grow back, braces don't. And
Lance was there. Now, no one knew how this could be, since Lance's head had
exploded the previous week, and he was dead. They informed him of this, and
asked him how he could be there. Lance said that he had no memory of being
there last week, that the last he remembered of being there was two weeks
ago, with Tim (formerly of Victory Records). It also appeared that Lance had
undergone some kind of transformation. His voice was a bit different, kind
of deeper, more manly. He now claimed that he hated glam, and only wanted to
hear bands like Carcass and Dark Throne, true Norwegian black metal. He
played whole sets of this kind of music. Then he began talking in gutteral
growls in some language that was definitely not English, and, I suppose, was
Norwegian. This was freaking Joe out. He told Lance that he loved glam Like
Poison, and Stryper. Lance insisted that he did not, he only loved true
Norwegian black metal! Joe told Lance that he had something for him that he
would like, the new Brett Michaels CD. Lance protested that he did not like
Brett Michaels. Joe began to play the new Brett Michaels... And Lance's head
exploded, and he was dead leaving another huge mess all over the room. And
so that was MO... Tune in this week, Thor should be back, as somehow,
although he and Jeffie shared a body, Thor is somehow separated and not
dead. Jeffie is dead, but has been dead before, so... Who knows... Pepe...
who knows... Lance is dead, but, he was dead twice before, so... Who
knows... Santa should be back, as it is his time of year. Tune in...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Present on this night were, Just Joe, his parents (Crow of The Pushrods, and
Electric Vodka Dude), and Gorgar. Just Joe seemed to have recovered from
having his precious Shiny explode all over him the week before courtesy of
his mom. At least he wasn't bawling his head off any more. Everyone
congratulated EVD on a job well done. Well, everyone except for Just Joe, of
course, he wasn't happy with EVD at all. While Just Joe was out on an
errand, they asked EVD if he could repeat it, make another exploding Shiny
and let Just Joe think he had stolen it back from him? EVD said he thought
he could. When Just Joe got back, they told him he should plot a revenge on
EVD. Just Joe said he would. And, after a while, Just Joe said that he could
have his revenge, he had EVD's car keys, and he could steal his car. He left
to go do this. Soon he was back. They asked him what about his revenge? He
said that he didn't need it now. Because he had his Shiny, it had been on
the passenger seat of the car, in plain view. They told him they were happy
for him, and that they didn't want to take the Shiny away from him. Now,
Just Joe is not quite as dumb as we sometimes think he is, (not quite), or
perhaps he is finally slowly learning from years of hard experience, because
he became suspicious. Why didn't they want the Shiny? They quickly reversed
course, telling him that they did want it, could they see it? Then they
attacked him, pretending that it was because they were trying to get the
Shiny. Just Joe put the Shiny in a place where none of them would want to go
after it... Down his pants, where it stayed! I bet you can guess what will
be coming up later!? :) They asked him if he was sure this was a good
place for it. He seemed to think it was. Crow and EVD then threw their son
out in the snow, to play Just Joe tossing and sliding, to see who could get
the most distance. Crow, EVD, and Azkath all took turns at this sport. EVD
won, he got Just Joe to slide the farthest, about 60 feet. Well, that
figures, no one can throw you out like your mother. Later, Just Joe was
thrown in the snow again, and Azkath swung him around and around by the
feet, and then let go so he would go flying. Just Joe actually enjoyed this.
Also during one of the times when he was being thrown out side, Just Joe's
head whacked into a tree by the door, giving him a big scratch wound.
Through all of this the Shiny remained in his pants. They let Just Joe pick
out another set of music. And A listener (a female one) called in and
requested that they all should be nicer to Just Joe, and all give him a hug.
Because LE honors listener's requests, they all did this and told Just Joe
he was a great guy. Just Joe was very happy (despite all the beat downs,
being thrown in the snow multiple times, and the big tree gash on his head),
he had gotten to pick music, and he had his Shiny back! Life was good! And
there was a very loud bang... From Just Joe's pants... The Shiny had, once
again exploded on Just Joe. Everyone began laughing at Just Joe, and making
lots of jokes about something popping in his pants. Just Joe was again very
distraught. And the night would get even worse for him. His parents had
still more bad news for him... They informed him that they were not his real
parents. That he had been adopted from Kurdish yak herders. Just Joe ended
this LE pretty much the same way he had ended up the week before's.
Extremely distraught, crying, and just generally having a very bad night...
In the last portion of the show, the performances from the bands Angels
Beneath Me, and A Day Without Rain, from The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume III
DVD Release Show, back in October, were played back. They sounded great, and
they rocked! And thus went LE for the week... Tune in this week to hear what
happens...

******************************************************

Notes from Azkath...

This week is the Xmas party for The Metallic Onslaught. Jeffie will be
there, Thor will be there, I think Lance will be there, of course Joe and
Rick, and seemingly Santa... Will all of this make sense finally? Who
knows... Tune in and see. I believe this is the LAST Metallic Onslaught for
2005...

On The Last Exit... Perhaps Mr Zarumba will be up from Punch Drunk
Monkeys... Other than that... Not sure what will be going on. I plan on the
feature artist being inRed and Divinity Destroyed from the XS III release
show in October... These are not done yet, but hopefully I will have them
done for Saturday night.

Next week is the Xmas Pageant on The Last Exit. This should, by all,
indications, be one of the most fucked up shows ever. It will also be the
7th pre-anniversary End of the World show. You do not want to miss this.

The New Years Show will likely be pre-recorded as we will be attending the
Punch Drunk Monkeys show in Endicott. Sort of a Demon's pick show, as we did
last year, but no requests at all this year since it will all be done in
advance...

In other notes, there may be a neat new feature on the website next year. No
guarantees on this, but I am working on having the radio shows archived each
week, for a week, so that if you miss them or can't always listen when they
are on, you can listen any time during the week. I have to work out some
details on this yet, though. Should also be able to provide downloadable
versions of the Best of DVD's and XS DVD's...

Speaking of Xtreme Soundscapes... The next XS Show will tentively be Sat,
March 25th at The Haunt in Ithaca. Tentative line-up, If Man is Five,
Missing Marcus, and Loki the Grump. There will likely be 2 more female
fronted bands added to that list. I am also working on a special XS III.V
DVD that will ONLY be available at that show. It will liklely have video
footage from a bunch of the bands that have played XS shows in the past...

Then, Sat, April 29th at The Haunt is the Vol IV Release Show. No details on
that yet...

NEW RENAISSANCE NEWS

Dear Friends:

I have recently been advised that someone is selling AMULANCE's FEEL THE
PAIN on CD. Since I was planning on re-releasing this item in 2006, I am NOT
HAPPY. Especially because this product is owned by my conpany and has not
been licensed to anyone!

As you may know, I am finishing law school and am studying international
entertainment law and criminal law. Bootlegging falls in both categories of
the law. I will not tolerate bootlegging, and further will assume that
ANYBODY who is SELLING this item is involved.

Federal copyright law provides for a statutory penalty of $10,000.00 per
each time an infringing item is sold --- no matter who sells it and at what
level! Last year I worked in a law office on a case involving this exact
situation, and I know exactly what to do.

If you know who is selling these items, please contact me immediately. I
will not file legal action against anybody who assists in getting this
stopped --- but I will not hesitate to use international law to stop this.

Thanks in advance for your assistant is stopping this!

Best Regards,

Ann Boleyn New Renaissance Records

DIVINITY DESTROYED

We'd like to thank anyone who came out to any of our recent shows, i.e.
Finnigan's, Froggers, Camelot, Conduit, The Rail, etc. Nothing too unusual
happened. Dan put his head through his snare, Mark vomited repeatedly
onstage, Jim split his head open, etc.

One night over the summer, a couple of you may have caught us strolling into
Froggers doused in paint. To enlighten and elucidate, we give you The Plague
Pictorial, a visual diary documenting the excretion of the new EP's artwork.

We've been planning on designing a new shirt for some time now but have no
idea what to make. To settle this, we've decided to bring this issue to the
people. You guys are going to be the ones wearing these anyway. So vote for
what new DD swag you want via the poll on our site!

To recap one final time before we lay this to rest, Jim's beauty of a bass
was stolen outside Starland Ballroom after the Misfits show on October 29th.
It was an Ibanez 1205, 5-string neck-thru with a transparent blue finish.
Despite numerous flyers being posted in music stores and a MySpace bulletin
sent to almost 8,000 people, we haven't had much positive response. This is
one last APB.

Also regarding the merch, the baby-tees have been backordered so if you've
ordered one, sit tight. There was a small problem with a recent run of
Nocturnal Dawn CDs too. Namely, the wrong songs were on there. If you've
been victimized, let us know and we'll send a new one. If you're lucky,
maybe the replacement won't be defective. And no, if you send us a CD raked
with car keys or smeared with shit, you won't receive a free one.

Our very own Dan Leonard, skin-beater extraordinaire, still has openings for
students. For anyone looking to further hone their skills in drumming and/or
Socom, write to him at dan@...
