Notes from Azkath...

Yeah, I really need to get these out BEFORE the Metallic Onslaught,
sorry I have been lacking in that to those who pay attention. Last night
was the Xtreme Soundscapes Vol VI DVD Release Show, and despite real bad
weather, Ayurveda playing a huge show at Castaways (which was supposed
to be on Sunday originally), and Angels Beneath Me canceling due to um,
never mind, bad things and Chano, their vocalist, and very good reasons
he could not scream for the band, a decent number of people showed up,
so I want to thank everyone that did, it means a lot. And the new XS VI
DVD will be up on the website to watch and download in a few days...

As for The Last Exit tonight, well, our feature artist will be Never the
Sunshine from back in April at the XS IV DVD Release Show. Other than
that, not really sure who is coming up and what may happen. In the next
few weeks we should have a bunch of exclusive live performances in
studio, 6 Finger, Zadoc and the Nightmare, Castle Bravo, and Titanium
Black. And I may well be forgetting someone. If all else fails tonight,
however, maybe we will just break something on Just Joe...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

There were: Joe, Rick, Lancer, and Josh and his multitude of
personalities. Lancer drank all night, starting as soon as he arrived,
of course, as always, but he insists that it's all non alcoholic, since
he is now in a twelve step program by court order, but everyone doubts
his sincerity on this, as he sure acts drunk, but, then again, he is a
really strange dude, so maybe that's just how he normally acts. And we
have a new candidate for The MO / LE Hall Of Fame For Bands Who Have Had
Their Names Said The Most Times, Both On Air, And In The Chat Room
(wow!, that's a really long category name!)... This band still has a
ways to go to catch up with "Lamb Of God!", OOOO!!!! *TINGLE!!!!*,
GOATWHORE!!!!, and My Penis, but it is getting there... The band's name
is Hell Yeah, so, as you might imagine, whenever it's said, it inspires
everyone to yell that out a bunch of times.

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

There were: Just Joe, EVD, Gorgar, and the band If Man Is Five. When
Azkath and EVD arrived, Just Joe, who had apparently spent the week
locked in the bathroom hiding from The Little People, demanded to know
what they were doing there? The Little People had taken them away to eat
them, after all, so they definitely should not be there... They said
that yes, The Little People had taken them away, but it had been really
cool, they had had them for dinner, but that meant they had served them
dinner, not eaten them for dinner, and a delicious dinner it had been,
too! And there had been hot girls there, and hallucination inducing
mushrooms, and, well, it had just been a really really awesome time, one
huge, nonstop party! Just Joe was now upset that he had missed out on
all this fun. So he said he was going out to find The Little People so
they could take him away. He returned... He had not been able to find
any Little People, but he had not come back empty handed... He had found
and brought back with him the band If Man Is Five, who will,
coincidentally, be performing at The Xtreme Soundscapes Volume VI DVD
Release Show Friday, January 26. If Man Is Five were there for about
half of the night. They performed a lot of their songs, including a new
one, half-acoustically. They rocked, as they always do. And this was
their drummer Matt's first time there. http://www.myspace\ifmanisfive go
there to check them out. After they had left, TTTP was played. There are
now four thousand seven hundred and thirty songs on the computer.
However, there was no Buckner And Garcia on it this time. The rules
were... If a bullet played, then nothing would happen to Just Joe. And,
if a bullet didn't play, they would have to go find The Little People
for Just Joe. No bullet. So they said they would go find The Little
People for Just Joe so he could go party with them. At the next break,
Azkath told Just Joe that they had found The Little People for him, that
EVD had already left with some of them to go party some more, but that
there were still lots of them outside waiting for him. Just Joe
excitedly ran outside. However, shortly he came running back inside
screaming. He bolted straight back into the bathroom and locked himself
in there again. They asked him why he had done that? He said that The
Little People had tried to eat him. They told him that no they didn't
want to eat him, that they had explained that having him for dinner
meant inviting him to a cool dinner, not eating him. That, even though
he is dumb, he should understand this by now. Just Joe insisted that
they had tried to eat him, asking, if that wasn't what they wanted to
do, then why had they stuck a fork in his ass. And, indeed, he did show
them the fork. They were a bit baffled by this, concluding that The
Little People must just not like Just Joe. Well, duh, nobody likes Just
Joe, why would The Little People be any different??? At the next break,
Just Joe was out of the bathroom. They sent Gorgar out to see if there
were any Little People out there. Gorgar reported that there were, and
it was awesome, they were partying, Just Joe should come on out and join
the party! Just Joe went, but he wasn't there long. He came flying back
inside, saying that they were trying to eat him, that they had thrown
forks and knives at him, and he did have another fork sticking out of
him. Azkath told Just Joe that he was going to go party with The Little
People some more, that Just Joe could join the party or stay there,
whatever he wanted. So Azkath left, and Just Joe probably went back into
the bathroom and locked himself in. The Feature Artists were two band's
performances from past Xtreme Soundscapes Shows, Angels Beneath Me, from
The Xtreme Soundscapes Show on August 11th, 2006, with an appearance by
Crappy The Clown, who hosted that Show, and the aforementioned If Man Is
Five, from The Xtreme Soundscapes 2nd Anniversary Show, on November
12th, 2006. They sounded great, rocked! It was good to hear them.
