Notes from Azkath...

Ok, so tonight on The Last Exit... Well, it is the closest show to
Tuesday. Which is National Joe Day. I suppose we should do something
about that. Also, I think we need to reward EVD somehow for making sure
SOMETHING went out over the air last week. Our feature artist tonight is
Suicidal Tendencies...

As for the next Xtreme Soundscapes Show, it will no longer be April
20th, It is now Friday, May 4th. That will be Bone Jar and If Man is
Five. Code 6 are off the show, and I don't know about Drop Clutch yet.
That will be at The Haunt still.

On The Metallic Onslaught:

There were: Joe, Rick, Lancer, Josh and everyone else who shares his
head with him (wait, that sounds kinda "Dirty!", as Joe would say, but
you know what I mean, all his personalities that live in his body with
him). There was more disturbing black metal courtesy of Lancer, we've
had black metal Poo, as in shit, black metal Pooh, as in Winny, Tigger
and all their Hundred Acre Woods friends, black metal Scooby Doo and
Shaggy, and, now, black metal Star Wars, featuring black metal Chewbaka.
It was TRULY frightening! And there was a lot of talk of, um, fecal
matter, a lot of the time it was referred to as bacon (it was also
referred to as many other things, but bacon quite a lot), but shit is
what they were talking about. I hope I can forget this by the next time
I eat bacon, but I'm sure I won't, so a nice experience has likely been
made less nice for me forever. Thanks guys! Ah well, bacon isn't good
for you anyways, so I guess you've done me a favor, my arteries are
probably clogged up with cholesterol already, so, thanks guys. Plus
there was some pretty disgusting talk about bacon and mayonnaise. Yuck!
Mayonnaise here, as you surely know, didn't really mean mayonnaise
either. Also, thanks to Josh and Lancer, Dave Mustaine and Danzig also
made guest vocal appearances...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

There were, Vern, Zoltan The Avenger, Friend, Shoebox (yes, Shoebox!),
Timmy The Prophet Of Doom, The Giant Canadian. No Just Joe. No EVD.
"What!?", you say. "What is this?!", some reunion!?, or time warp to the
past!?". Well, due to the weather, there could not be a new, real time
Last Exit this week (your 1st clue of that should have been when you saw
that Shoebox was there, because like that would ever happen today!), so
what there was was a rebroadcast of that most famous, or infamous, LE
from May 12th, 2002, which was the big Armageddon celebration, as we
were certain then that the world was going to end in 4 days from then on
May 15th. Obviously we were slightly wrong on that, but that was not our
fault, it was Zoltans, he stole The Keys To The Apocalypse, and stopped
it from happening, making us wait another 10 years from then for that to
occur (which we are almost half way through now). But this was a really
cool show nonetheless, and it featured the 1st appearance ever of
Shoebox, among many other crazy things, and lots of chaos. I am not
going to do a break by break rundown of everything that happened, like I
usually do for these, because so damned much went on so crazily and
chaotically that I'm not even gonna try to break it all down, but it was
really wild, so fun to hear, a nice treat for anyone listening to hear
again, or, if this was your 1st time tuning in, then you would have
gotten a great taste of what a cool show you have found and can look
forward to. I mean, it was shows like this one, that induced and
compelled me to want to join in the fun. At that time, I was only a
listener, I hadn't made myself known in any way, except for having
requested to be put on the weekly e-mailing list, (and now I am a part
of that weekly e-mailing list, something I never would have dreamed of
back then!, funny how things work sometimes!), and so I got up the
courage to join the chat room soon after that, and have been there ever
since (am now host of the room, another honor I never would have dreamed
of back then), and it was because of shows like this one, so it gets a
lot of the credit, or of the blame as a lot of people may see it, for me
being here. And it was from almost 5 years ago, and so now you've heard
it twice, so you should be very familiar with everything that went on on
it, I mean, you could never forget it!... And there was a virtual, real
time show, in the chat room, as all of the shows current participants
were there, including EVD and Just Joe, as well as one former
participant, Ian The Yeti, and we had a cool "Show" there (well, we were
all there except for Gorgar, as he is a dinosaur, and an injured
dinosaur at that, so he went to bed instead of joining us, BAD
DINOSAUR!), so you see, you should always come join us in the chat room
as well as listen to the program, as a lot of silliness and fun always
goes on there as well...

Dammit, I'm sick! This is all YOUR FAULT! Or, more likely, it's
because I've substituted energy drinks for sleep too many nights in
a row! But THAT'S YOUR FAULT TOO!!!

Anyway, regardless, I'm taking off for Long Island tomorrow morning,
and coming back for a couple of shows right here in Rochester in the
