Notes from Azkath

Ok, so a bunch of changes. One, I think this will be the last full
e-mail I send out from the show. I played with the idea of discontinuing
the e-mails altogether, but there are a decent number of you on here,
it's just that we don't get a lot of new subscribers and e-mail lists
are not a very popular thing anymore. So, instead, this is what I
decided. I will send out stuff during the week as it is ready. So,
probably first just the recaps, then the playlist, concerts, any music
news, and then a preview/notes thing just before the shows. So a few
short e-mails rather than one long one.

Other changes. Go to the websites. Both shows now have video recaps up.
The site had a mild redesign, nothing major, but the weekly pic is now
on the entrance page, and where that was, is now the what's new section.
This will feature video recaps when I make them, as well as anything
else new video or audio wise. We also have a Youtube channel you can go
subscribe to. Let me know what you all think of this. If we get good
feedback and views on the video recaps I will keep doing them. Also,
last week's Last Exit is not yet up in the Archive, but will be soon...

As for the shows this weekend, not sure about The Metallic Onslaught
tonight, and The Last Exit tomorrow should have Titanium Black up to
play acoustic. That is all I know right now.

Onto the Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

There were: Joe, Rick, Lancer, Josh And CO., Jeffie/Thor, EVD. Jeffie
Played the purple slide whistle and kazoo a lot. He played (not on the
instruments, as, THANK GOODNESS!, it is not a song, or at least not yet
it isn't, knowing Jeffie, it probably will be sometime) "What's In
Jeffie's Pants?", and also tried to play what's in other people's pant's
as well. Which led to a lot of brawling. The brawling often disgusting,
looking more like man love. Thor killed and broke Josh. Records were
thrown, used as weapons, and broken on people... At one point, for some
reason, EVD helped Jeffie and defended him from further harm...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

This LE fell on Easter Sunday, so it was a We Love Satan Show, with all
of the music and recorded comedy skits about, honoring, hailing, and
praising Satan. There were: Just Joe (who, for tonight, was also The
Easter Bunny, complete with bunny ears), EVD, Crappy The Clown, and
Crappy's huge carnivorous dog Major Chaos. In honor of Easter, The
Easter Bunny was killed and resurrected many times. His deaths included:
getting dropped head first down the stairs on to a nail board a couple
times, getting beaten down in the hallway by Azkath, and then some more
by Crappy, having Crappy break a bathroom scale on him with The Giant
Hammer (which happened because a bullet played, and oh how ironic and
appropriate a bullet it was considering what day it was, Stryper's "To
Hell With The Devil" it was!), getting killed in a death match involving
a barbed wire baseball bat with Azkath (which the idiot challenged him
to 'cause he was tired of getting killed, and he thought that would put
a stop to this), with Crappy beating him down some more after it was
over. He was resurrected after each killing, as always, by having water
poured over him (or, in one case, by having Crappy piss on him). What
would Easter be without an Easter egg hunt, and so there was one. 2 of
the eggs had explosives in them to give it a LE touch. Azkath and FMG
wound up finding the exploding eggs. Being really sore losers they took
this out on The Easter Bunny, beating the crap out of him (Crappy and
EVD joined in, even though their eggs had been fine), clobbering him
over the head multiple times with cookie sheets, and throwing him down
the stairs. And, for the grand finale, the final killing of The Easter
Bunny for the night... Azkath threw him down the stairs onto barbed
wire, and, while he was pinned down by the barbed wire, threw his basket
of eggs down on top of him. The Feature Artist was the Punch Drunk
Monkeys Show from December 2006. That sounded great and rocked. So went
The Easter Show... Now everyone, go out and do evil!

The new CD, "Mental Notes," continues to exist! I've sold far
fewer than the population of earth, so I'm guessing this means
SOME PEOPLE HAVEN'T BOUGHT IT YET!! Help remedy this by going
forth to http://www.wormquartet.com right this very second and
buying your own damned copy!

FuMP NEWS

A crooning piano-driven ballad version of one of my all-time
best-loved songs is now available for download over yonder at

ACTUAL PIECE OF WORM QUARTET FOR SALE NEWS
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Y'know, I've happily autographed anything people have wanted
me to in the past (although I had to ask Kim's permission for
breasts,) and I've sold a couple of oddball pieces of WQ
memorabilia, such as old demo tapes and the first CD player
I ever used for concerts.

But if you're such a diehard Worm Quartet fan that you actually
need to wear a part of my body around your neck at all times
encased in resin and sterling silver, my wife has decided to
make your dreams come true:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5630997

Also ideal for voodoo if you want terrible things to happen to
me, or to keep on hand for the DNA in case I am completely
obliterated and a new Shoebox must be cloned.

If this sells, my nipples are next.

More of my wife's creations are at www.damselflycreations.com
And she's also making custom buttons for cheap-as-hell prices
at http://www.buttonslut.com

WORM QUARTET ON DR. DEMENTO NEWS
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Dr. D has the new album! He's played several songs off of it
already, including "I'm Not A Girl," "C Is For Lettuce," "I Want
To Be Taken Seriously As An Artist," "you were wrong cabinet
sanchez," and "I've Got A Wife!" Wanna see some of these here
songs perhaps make it to the Funny Five? Why not go click on
http://www.drdemento.com and REQUEST, dammit?!?

Can't find Dr. Demento? See http://dmdb.org/stations.html for a
list of known stations that carry the show. The good Dr. also offers
his shows in streaming form at http://www.drdemento.com

ODOR NEWS
=-=-=-=-=
The new deodorant is performing admirably, and thus I currently
smell as clean and pure as it is possible for a 6'4" 280-lb.
long-haired freak who moved a buffet earlier today to smell,
with perhaps a hint of teriyaki.

That's all I've got, dammit! Thanks as always for supporting the
dumbass crap I do!

Orbiting the dookiedome,
