Notes from Azkath...

I believe there will be a somewhat normal Metallic Onslaught. Jeffie is,
to the best of anyone's knowledge, dead. EVD plans on being there, as
well as some of the various other hosts that are normally there. Frizz
and Dooger will not be making an appearance. See below for words from
them...

On The Last Exit, we should have Genevieve from Psyche Corporation once
again visiting with us, and who knows what else may happen...

And now to the recaps but, first, some words from Frizz and Dooger, who
took over the first hour of the Metallic Onslaught this week... Go add
them on MySpace at www.myspace.com/frizzanddooger

"The legend begins...

Hey y'all! The Dooger here. This past weekend me and my good buddy Frizz
were guest hosts on the Metallic Onslaught. Normally the show is okay,
playing a good tune once in a while, but this past Friday it TOTALLY
ROCKED!!! At least for the first hour. If ya didn't get a chance to tune
in, watch this space in the near future for information on the next time
we'll be appearing, and how to catch us. It'll be well worth it, we promise!

Oh yeah, there was plenty of Winger action goin' on as well. We played a
couple of tunes by the band, and even an Alice Cooper song from when Kip
was in his band.

Now we gotta say, Josh was kinda, well...Josh. I mean, there me and
Frizz were, rockin' out the whole time, and maybe everyone feel good and
partyin' and stuff. And there was Josh, sittin' there whining about us
not playing Motorhead, or some crap like that. Motorhead is DEPRESSING,
dude! Who wants to hear that? Winger, and other hair bands, are where
it's at, baby!

And we heard the comments by the regular hosts of the show after we
left. That's okay. We aren't discouraged at all! We WILL be back. We
WILL rock out and party more! We WILL play more WINGER!!!!!! And you
will all love it.

Just keep watching this space, and ROCK ON! WINGER RULES!"

** Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard **

On The Metallic Onslaught:

There were: Joe, Rick, Josh (General Josh now), our leader formerly Joe
The Angry Troll, now President Troll Sir. We learned that General Josh's
war on Iowa, declared by President Troll Sir, had been a failure, so
there is still a state called Iowa, and the presidential caucus can
apparently go on there as scheduled. Everyone spent the night picking on
Josh. At one point Josh began talking in a bunch of cartoon character's
voices, reconfirming everyone's opinion that there is really something
wrong with him, like seriously. He also played on his guitar, but his
choices got him more scorn, not faring much better than the keyboard's
playing Wham does, I'm surprised President Troll Sir didn't declare war
on it, too. Well, I guess declaring all these wars can become a bit
tiring sometimes, so presidents need to take a break every now and then,
and so our leader did this night...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

There were: The Demon Azkath, Foul Mouth Girl, Just Joe, EVD, Dave, and
a lot of bands, who stopped by after their participation in the second
night, in the central NY area, of The Girls Rock Girls Rule Shows. 4 of
the 8 bands on that show dropped by LE, and they all played acoustic
sets. The bands were: RewBee, or half of RewBee, Rew, who did 2 songs,
Marisa Mini (who let us know that, although you might think her name is
pronounced like mar-issa from the spelling, it is, in fact, supposed to
be pronounced like mar-eesa, in other words, rhyming with Theresa, not
Melissa), who performed 2 songs, G-spot, who's Gail founded Girls Rock
Girls Rule, who sang 3 songs, including 2 brand new ones, and Loki the
Grump, who sang 3 songs, And, they all joined in on one song, which was
"Happy Birthday" to The Demon Azkath. All the bands were very cool, and
all the performances, were awesome. And now, a bunch of web sites which
you will want to check out... The sites for Girls Rock Girls Rule are:
www.myspace.com/girlsrock/girlsrule and www.revolutionaryrecords.com the
sites for RewBee are www.rewbee.com and www.myspace.com/rewwalsh you can
find Marisa Mini at www.myspace.com\marisamini. Check out G-spot at
www.gspotband.com and www.myspace.com/gspotband and, last but certainly
not least, you can find Loki the Grump at www.lokithegrump.com and
www.myspace.com/lokithegrump WHEW! All of the bands, and everyone else,
too, got hugged when Just Joe's Hugging Music played. They had decided
that Dave would be sacrificed to a Pagan God. Although Michele from Loki
the Grump had lobbied for it to be to Loki (gee, wonder why she wanted
it to be to that one!?), they had said it would be to Chthulhu, and they
decided to stick with that. So, after all the bands had departed, they
had Just Joe first throw Dave down the stairs, and then go down there
with a big knife, and kill Dave in the name of Chthulhu. Just Joe did,
Dave could be heard screaming, then silence, and Just Joe came back,
covered in blood, saying that Dave was now indeed dead. That's what Dave
gets for not knowing who Chthulhu even is! They told EVD he would have
to dispose of the body. However, during the next music set, other events
transpired which made this prove to be unnecessary... A listener called
up and said that, in keeping with the sacrificing to Chthulhu theme,
they should play Cradle Of Filth's "Chthulhu Dawn", and, as The Last
Exit For The Lost always honors listeners' requests, and also because
this did seem to be fitting, they did... And this resulted in Zombie
Dave, only he now said his name was Evad. He said he no longer liked
Just Joe, and EVD was his new best friend. They were not very happy with
Evad, preferring the original Dave to him. Well, EVD liked Zombie Evad,
as he took orders from him, Azkath and Just Joe did not like him, as he
kept attacking them. But they beat him down with The Boomstick, over
EVD's objections, driving it into the gaping wound in his neck, where
Just Joe had stabbed him. Azkath also stabbed him through the heart with
The Boomstick, so, every time he drove The Boomstick into that, blood
spurted all over the room, and, when Just Joe did the same to the neck
wound, blood gurgled all over, both of which were very cool. But, as
they couldn't figure out how to turn him back into Dave, I guess we may
have Zombie Evad back again next time, who knows? Although, the listener
who brought about the Zombie in the first place dropped by the chat room
and wanted me to pass on these messages about that, so I am including
them here...

Kal: Hey, this is the guy who called in and suggested sacrificing Dave
to Cthulhu. Sorry about that, I think I might've read somthing wrong in
the post-sacrificial
instructions. If it wouldn't be that much trouble, would you mind
telling them that Dave will be fine, so long as they read Section 7 of
the English version of the Necronomicon backwards, and if he starts to
foam at the eyes, lock him in a closet and continue reading, and if he
starts to look like somthing out of "Half-life" they shoulden't look
directly at him, but rather through a mirror. They tend to get dangerous
when they look like that, especially if they start foaming blue from the
eyes. Now, Dave should be ok, so long as the cleansing ritual is done
right, (Ok being in the terms of he'll act the same and he probably
won't remember being sacrificed) except that his soul will be gone. Of
course, that won't really matter, because all souls will eventually
belong to Cthulhu anyway, but he'll act the same until then.

So, there you go, thanks Kal. So, perhaps Dave will be back after all,
who knows? The only way to find out for sure is to tune in next time and
hear... The Feature Artist was Rage...
