Notes from Azkath
Fun tonight, not sure what kind, but isn't it always? Tune in...
** Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard **
On The Metallic Onslaught:
There were: Rick, Josh. Yes, those 2 love birds were back from their
date, err, I mean, from the Vader concert, and, apparently there date
went so well, that this was sort of the continuation of it, just the 2
of them. Josh had a virgin experience for MO... For the 1st time he got
to play a whole set of music that he had picked out. It was a power
metal set. There was quite a lot of very heavy metal played in the rest
of the night, with some classic stuff for a good mix. And, a final hour
of only music, which contained, among other things, the most evil thing
of all that could be played anywhere... The Teletubbies!
On The Last Exit For The Lost:
There were: The Demon Azkath, Foul Mouth Girl, Just Joe, EVD, and Steve
from the band Armageddon Monks. This show celebrated 2 things, Just
Joe's 13th anniversary on LE (actually it is his 4th anniversary, but,
since 13 is supposed to be a very unlucky number, it was decided that it
should be Just Joe's number. Plus, trust me, for anyone who spends time
in Just Joe's presence, it will feel like MUCH longer a time then it
actually was, MUCH longer!), and, also, it celebrated EVD's upcoming
birthday, Tuesday, December 4th, at 4:16 PM. We're not sure exactly how
old he's going to be, but, to paraphrase that classic Worm Quartet song
about Joe, the host of The Metallic Onslaught, EVD's really old. So,
since all the smacks needed for an age that high would take forever, he
got a couple of REALLY good, hard smacks, and then Just Joe screeched, I
mean, sang "Happy Birthday" to him. And, it all went further down hill
for him from there... Although it had been supposed to be Just Joe's
unlucky night, it was EVD who got all the bad luck. He either fell down,
or got pushed down the stairs by Just Joe, depending on whom you choose
to believe, when he tried to give Just Joe a swirly, he tried to give
Just Joe a special box, but it wound up blowing up on him instead, and,
when he said he had had enough and was going home, he got lost on the
way there. Just Joe, on the other hand, survived his 13th anniversary of
being on LE 4 years completely unscathed. So, happy 13th anniversary of
being on LE 4 years to Just Joe! *gives Just Joe a hug and tries to
extricate herself as quickly as possible and screeches, err, sings, the
happy anniversary song* And happy whatever amount of multitudinous years
birthday it will be for you on Tuesday EVD! *smacks EVD repeatedly with
dead road kill* I would sing "Happy Birthday To You" the way Marilyn
Monroe sang it, but, Just Joe already did such a lovely job of singing
it for you, you don't need it. The Feature Artist for this dual special
occasion show was Anthrax...
