A message from Frizz and Dooger from The Metallic Onslaught...

" Frizz and the Dooger will be on NEXT Friday, (the 8th,) and it's gonna
be the Extra-Special Valentine's Show. It's gonna be a hell of a party!
ALL POWER BALLADS! WOO-HOO! "

Yeah, take that for what it is. Not sure what is planned for this week's
show.

As for The Last Exit, we may end up with TWO bands up to the show. I'm
not saying who, you will have to tune in and find out, One has never
been there, and other hasn't been up in a while but I guess you could
call them regulars...

Jeffie arrived and said he had brought friends with him. Turns out they
were all his imaginary friends. Which makes much more sense, since no
one could believe Jeffie could ever manage to find a friend. The primary
one, according to Jeffie, was named Gilbert, and, all of them were 9
feet tall. Jeffie had his friends take EVD and Josh away and beat them
down. They took Josh into the bathroom, and EVD somewhere else, they
weren't sure where. Then, the rest of the night was a long protracted
brawl/beat down, with Jeffie provoking everyone, being able to beat on
some of them for a little, but then getting severely beaten down, by
Rick, and everyone else...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Just Joe wasn't there for the 1st hour or so. They dispatched Dave to go
find him. Why, who knows, you'd think one would just accept small gifts,
or, in this case, really big ones, and just enjoy them. When Dave
returned with Just Joe, Just Joe seemed very distraught. He couldn't
remember the past week, and he mostly just babbled jibberish. They
suggested he go into the basement, and just meditate a while, and maybe
he would feel better, and things would come back to him. When he was
down there, they played a Morbid Angel song which has an incantation at
the beginning of it. Just Joe phoned upstairs to say that something had
happened... The incantation had opened the door to a weird cave in the
basement. They told him to explore it and get back to them. Shortly, he
phoned again, warning them that they should probably close the door. He
said a monster, a really bad one, had emerged from the cave. They sent
Dave to shut the door. There was a tremendous amount of screaming "HELP
ME! HELP ME", and then Dave was gone. When Just Joe got back upstairs,
they asked if he had, by chance, seen Dave. When Just Joe got it out of
them that the monster had apparently gotten Dave, Just Joe went rushing
off to save Dave, loudly assuring Dave that he was on his way to help.
Man, that's just what I'd want to hear to comfort me if I was in the
clutches of some horrible monster, that I could rest easy because Just
Joe was on his way to help me. I think I'd rather take my chances
fighting the monster alone! I'd probably stand a much better chance of
actually getting out of trouble, he'd probably just insure that the
monster would wind up with me forever! But, for some reason, Just Joe
and Dave like each other, and, since Dave rescued Just Joe from The
Shoggoth last week, I guess turn about is fair play. Just Joe came back,
saying that he had rescued Dave. Weeellll... That was sort of true... He
got Dave from the monster, but he was dead. See what I mean about Just
Joe's help?! They told Just Joe to try using The Book Of The Dead (there
would probably be one of those in a scary subterranean cave, there
always is) and try to use that to resurrect Dave. Just Joe tried that,
and said he'd succeeded. Again, he was half right, sorta, which, for
him, is about as good as it gets. Dave was alive, but he was only
babbling gibberish, laughing, and talking about cookies and hamburgers.
They played a special song for him, and that brought him the rest of the
way back. Or at least he was back until they started talking to him
about the monster that had eaten his face and all. Then Dave started
babbling again. He would kinda go back and forth between being alright
and not remembering what had happened to him, and remembering and then
not being alright. And he still kept going on about cookies. Atakke, a
live concert from them from earlier in the week, was The Feature Artist...
