Alright, so last week saw, or I should say, heard some damned strange stuff
on both shows. I, Azkath, was on the Onslaught for a while. I did happen
across that long lost Jeffie that even Jeffie Ver. 2 found annoying, and
later that night, despite my belief that he was dead, we found out why. We
all took turns trying to kill the bastard, but to no avail. I can only
assume that he will return this week for the show at some point.

Then we move onto Saturday. Shoebox showed up for Ithaska. I actually
didn't hear much of that, but he of couse stayed for the Last Exit... Well,
until the monster that we found in the basement took him away. It also
kidnapped Ithaska, a new band we had up (RIP), and most of our regulars on
the show and took them into his cave in the basement. For some reason, both
Phil and Friend were found in the basement later. None of us know why. The
monster dug a tunnel to Ovid and deposited him. Friend went and picked him
up later. In the end it seems that the monster and cave were all a part of
Dr. Evil's Lair. Who could have known. Arthur did find a few interesting
things before leaving the cave. For one, he found Handy. People have often
asked where he has been, well, there we go. He was actually found in a pair
of size 70 pants. In the back pocket. We can only assume the worst. And
he found an 1983 Zoltan-Edition Fuzzy Hat. We have no idea what that means.
We convinced Friend to get into the pants with Arthur. The attached picture
is the result. More pictures will be up on the site soon. We also gave
away a whole lot of stuff to various people and that went well. We may aim
to do another giveaway show on Halloween, or the day after anyways... Oh,
and Friend then took off with Arthur still in the pants with him. That was
the last we saw of either of them.

Ok, so this week... Um, yes, well, I assume Jeffie, Ver 3 will be back on
the Onslaught, and I don't know what will happen on The Last Exit, nor who
the feature artist will be this week. You'll have to listen and see I
guess.

Webpage stuff. I will have the pictures of B.P. visiting the Onslaught up
hopefully before the show tonight, and may actually put the entire Last Exit
show from last week up on the page so those that missed it can hear it.
That won't likely happen till next week though.

And remember, The Witching are doing their CD release party tonight (Friday)
at Castaways in Ithaca. And Worm Quartet will be opening for The VooDoo
Glow Skulls, The River City Rebels, and The Pietasters on Tuesday at
Castaways as well.

the band has revealed that they plan to take the reunion to the studio and
record a new album

CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN
while the grinders looks for a new drummer, guitarist Jason Andrews and
vocalist Joe Horvath have decided to start a project called Sleepwalker –
the new group includes the remains of Pittsburgh based death/grind band
Sadis Euphoria who recently disbanded and also ex-CODC bassist Alf Kooser
– the songs, ranging from 10-22 minutes long, include everything from
doom, to grind, to sludge, to black metal, to hardcore, to punk rock

this solo project of guitarist Christofer Malmström (Darkane) will also
feature bassist Gustaf Hielm (Meshuggah), vocalist Peter Wildoer (Darkane)

Blade Records). The disc, rampant with an infectious blend of jackhammer
grooves and pure aggressive immensity, fuses the band’s attraction to dark
fantasy as well as significant social commentary.

SIX FEET UNDER is never more potent than in the live setting. Veteran of
the Warped Tour, and sharing the stage with everyone as diverse as nearly
every extreme metal band on the planet to Disturbed and Danzig, the band is
now is primed to bludgeon North America as headliner of The Unnatural Born
Killers Tour 2003, with menacing openers Skinless, Behemoth, and The Black

ACTING UP: A 12-year-old boy in Malaysia robbed a woman after
persuading her to close her eyes while he wandered around her
apartment. The boy, who claimed to be a young monk, turned up at the
house of a newly wed woman in the district of Taman Satellite, and
said she could get rid of an evil spirit afflicting her if she shut
her eyes and repeated some mantras for several minutes. While she did
so, he and his friends cleaned out her flat, The Star reported. This
child deserves punishment for his sins--and an "A" grade for drama
skills.

CARDIFF - A Welsh farmworker is under police investigation
after allegedly biting off a kitten's head in front of 20
children, the London Sun said Friday. Dewi Richards, 32, is
free on bail on cruelty charges as Royal Society for the
Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and police interrogate wit-
nesses. The mother of Kaya Kemp, 12, said the girl was show-
ing off the 2-week-old cat to friends when the kitten es-
caped from her box. A man picked the cat up and "put her
head in his mouth. He bit down and blood spurted everywhere,"
the woman told the Sun, saying she then began hitting the
man. "He said if I didn't stop he'd bite my head off, too,"
she said. The man then ran off with the body of the kitten.
Richards was arrested after complaints to police and the
RSPCA in Llanelli, South Wales.

------------ Getting a Rise Out of Residents ---------------

OKLAHOMA - It all began with a challenge from a country ra-
dio station. Free concert tickets were offered to the town
of Agra if it renamed the city to Viagra. Last Friday, it
did. The city council voted unanimously for the change and
a sign bearing the new name was erected early Friday morn-
ing. Resident David Watkins thinks that it is an appro-
priate change: "Yes, people are horny here, they really
are," he commented with a chuckle. However, like the pill,
the name change will not last for long. The Viagra police
will once again be the Agra police on Saturday. Since the
town lived up to the challenge, all of the Viagra residents
are getting a ticket to Saturday's country music concert in
Tulsa. The mayor hopes the publicity will increase atten-
dance at the town's 100-year celebration next spring.

LONDON - In a bizarre tale of twisted love, a Scottish woman
has become her ex-husband's step-daughter, the London Mirror
reported Tuesday. The newspaper reported how Alison Smith
served as a bridesmaid as her ex-husband married the woman
who ruined her marriage -- none other than her mother. Smith
said she gave her blessing to cheating George Greenhowe, 21,
and his 44-year-old lover, Pat, even though she caught them
in bed together just 10 days after her own wedding in Novem-
ber 2001. "At first I was disgusted," 20-year-old Alison ad-
mitted after the ceremony Monday. "But I gradually fell out
of love with George and realized how happy he and Mum were.
On the morning of the big day, Alison -- who says she has
already started calling her ex-husband "Dad" -- helped Pat
get ready. Alison added: "Mum makes George happier than I
did."

Revised Patriot Act Will Make It Illegal To Read Patriot Act

WASHINGTON, DC—President Bush spoke out Monday in support of a revised
version of the 2001 USA Patriot Act that would make it illegal to read the
USA Patriot Act. "Under current federal law, there are unreasonable
obstacles to investigating and prosecuting acts of terrorism, including the
public's access to information about how the federal police will investigate
and prosecute acts of terrorism," Bush said at a press conference Monday.
"For the sake of the American people, I call on Congress to pass this
important law prohibiting access to itself." Bush also proposed extending
the rights of states to impose the death penalty "in the wake of Sept. 11
and stuff."
