We have three shows coming up at The Haunt this summer. First, in
connection with Binary, the Haunt's Goth night, we have Psyche
Corporation <http://www.psychecorporation.com> from NYC on Sunday, July
12th. Only $3 at the door and doors are at 9pm. Psyche Corporation will
go on around 10:30 or 11...

Then, on Friday, July 31st, we have Break of Reality
<http://www.breakofreality.com>, 3 cellos and a percussionist from NYC.

this band is. Also on that night, headlining will be Cortland rockers

The 31st is also the tentative date for the launch of our new DVD
series. Xtreme Soundscapes ended awhile back. This new series will be

Hey, our next Last Exit for the Lost Concert (formerly Xtreme
Soundscapes) will be Saturday March 7th at Castaways in Ithaca. After
some line-up issues, we finally have a kickass lineup we are happy with.

We have, from Syracuse, Zadoc... and the Nightmare
(www.myspace.com/zadocnightmare), with their Gothic Hard Rock on early
in the night.

We also have Children of the New Sun (www.myspace.com/newsunrocks
<http://www.myspace.com/newsunrocks>). These guys are from Rochester and
have an old school metal sound, ala Queensryche. This is the first show
they have ever played for us, and we're really happy to get them on the
bill.

Finally, we have Loki the Grump (myspace.com/lokithegrump) from NYC.
Female fronted Hard Rock / Punk. They played Ithaca few times now for
the Girls Rock Girls Rule tour, and have been featured on the Xtreme
Soundscapes DVD's.

There will likely be one more band added to the bill, we are just
waiting for confirmation.

In addition, though, we will have the show hosted by, the one, and
fortunately only, Crappy the Clown (crappytheclown.com). He will be
entertaining and performing in between bands.

There should be full details later in the week, the show will be just $5
and the doors are at 8pm, first band at 9. This will also be Foul Mouth
Girl's birthday show, and who knows what lies in wait for her...

redesigned over the coarse of this last week. Hope you like it. The

The Last Exit tonight will have Scarcaphagus and NFU in the studio. At
very least. I do believe that NFU (Naturally Fucked Up) will possibly be
doing some acoustic stuff in studio. And this will technically be our
14th Anniversary of me hosting the show (although it was initially The
Metal Cage when I took it over). I have, although purely by coincidence,
been transferring a bunch of demos and such from the 90's, and some from
the 80's, into MP3 format ( I own a business where I do that, fix
computers, transfer film, etc - RockRiverTech.com and had the tape deck
and a computer free) . So I think that it is fitting for our anniversary
show to be able to play stuff that we used to play regularly, which we
haven't played in years. Some of this stuff is just awesome, even today.
So many great bands that never went anywhere. Ah well. You can here them
on The Last Exit for the Lost again. As well as a big pile of new

rock! So go check out their sites if you haven't done so already. We
learned that Gorgar had not gotten lost in the 4th dimension last week,
but had fallen down a well, which he couldn't see, so the glasses must
make vision worse. Well they came from a cereal box, what can you
expect? Although Just Joe still insists they are 4th dimension glasses,
and that's where Gorgar was. If you don't know what any of that meant,
watch the video recap from last week's show, or better yet listen to the
show in the archive section. As a result of TTTP, with 6,000+ songs on
the computer, Just Joe and Dave were given couple of "magic rings", and
told that, whatever they put in it, would disappear, so to think of
creative things to do with that. They said that everything they put
through the rings wound up in the basement. They put one ring in the
other and went to see what happened. They came back up from the basement
very distraught, saying there was something unspeakable down there, a
vortex. They made the vortex come upstairs, and spent the rest of the
night having troubles with it... Eventually, they put it on EVD's car
and left for the night.

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Jeffie said he was upset that there are so many things he's not allowed
to say on the air. He said he was going to read a list of all the things
you're not allowed to say on the air, because he thought the people
needed to be educated on, and had a right to know, all the things
they're not allowed to hear... He said it would take a long time, as the
list was really long... He began to read, and, as soon as he started,
music started playing. The set ended just after he said the last thing.
But, Jeffie believed it had all been on air, only with the music in the
background. They washed out his mouth with soap for saying all those
things. He liked that, though, of course he did, he drinks bleach
regularly, remember? Anyone who does that, would enjoy having their
mouth washed out with soap! Normally, Rick would have been on his yearly
trip to the woods to dance around naked with a bunch of guys, while they
were all really drunk and peeing on each other (err, I mean, his yearly
camping trip with his brother and friends). But, for some reason, he
didn't go this year, so I guess I can't make all those camping jokes
about "pitching tents", "putting their tools into holes", "pounding and
banging lots of wood", and, "eating and sharing each others weeners"
this year. Ah well, maybe next year. Rick did say, though, that he will
be absent next week, not to go to the woods for all that activity... But

anyone who doesn't miss it, will probably regret it for the rest of
their lives, but, you know, in a good sorta way, the best sorta way! So,

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

The world was going to end at 4:30, during this LE. So the night was
kind of a preparation for that. Due to the results of TTTP, EVD and Dave
shaved Just Joe, all over aside from his head. Just before 4:30, we
counted down the final seconds of the world. When we reached 1, Just
Joe, Gorgar, and Dave ran outside, yelling and running around. As people
began to realize that, either they were still alive, or else the
afterlife is absolutely indistinguishable from our lives, which would
really suck, Azkath suddenly remembered to say that a world had ended,
but not this one. Not yet. This one still has a little more than four
and a half years left, so remember that, if there's anything you want to
accomplish before you croak. No, the world that had just ended is in the
Andromeda Galaxy, it's called Splorph, and it is, I mean, was, home to
some very nice, innocent, unfortunate plants, who have now all perished.
Awww, poor plants. :( they probably deserve to be alive much more than
we do. Dave and Just Joe came in, yelling and crying that they were now
ghosts. Gorgar was missing. They were told they were not, that it hadn't
been their world that had ended, but being really dumb, they couldn't
grasp this, insisting they were dead, they were ghosts. Smacking them,
to show them that they could still feel pain, and having them drink, to
show them that they still could do that, still didn't convince them.
They did manage to convince Joe though, that the ghost of every spider
he ever killed was now on the same plane of existence that he was. It
went badly in his head from there. So, everyone, let us all take some
time to remember the fate of the nice, poor plants of Splorph. Remember,
their fate will be ours in four and a half years...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

There was obviously something wrong with Just Joe's brain (I know,
you're thinking, how could you tell, something wrong with the brain is
normal for him, but this was different). He couldn't remember the prior
weeks LE, and kept forgetting what had gone on on this one as soon as it
happened. They concluded that the brain sucker, last week, must have
done something to cause this, taken something out or something. They had
Just Joe try several thinking exercises, hoping to fix it, but these
failed (well of course they did! Anything involving Just Joe and
thinking is bound to fail right there!). They told him he could fix what
was wrong (even though he never realized anything was wrong, thinking he
was fine), but that he could fix it anyways by going outside and
summoning a UFO, so to go do that, and not to come back until he had.
Just Joe came back saying he had gotten them a UFO and told the UFO they
wanted to talk with them. They said they had said no such thing, and
that they weren't going to talk to any UFO. They also told Just Joe the
UFO would probably be really pissed off at him for wasting their time.
They fixed Just Joe by playing The Great Luke Ski's song "Chainsaw
Juggler". He could then recall all he had forgotten. They told Just Joe
he could get revenge on EVD for all he's done to him by thumb wrestling
him. Just Joe lost, most likely because EVD first blew his nose in the
hand he was going to wrestle with, and then informed Just Joe that he
had just used that hand to masturbate. A shocked and disgusted Just Joe
thus lost. They then told Just Joe he could get revenge on Gorgar by
fighting him outside, that this would surely work, as Gorgar was already
injured. But they had set Just Joe up, telling Gorgar to find some deer,
and then, when Just Joe went to fight him, he would throw him to the
deer. They heard a lot of screaming outside. Finally, Just Joe came back
inside, but Gorgar was nowhere to be seen. They asked Just Joe where
Gorgar was. He said the deer had taken him. EVD was sent to go look for
Gorgar, he didn't really want to, being lazy, and selfish, and uncaring,
but, eventually, he went. He had no luck, no Gorgar. They told Just Joe
they didn't believe him about deer taking Gorgar. Just Joe stuck to that
story. Just Joe went back outside, and came in with a bunch of stuff.
Keys, which appeared to be Gorgar's, a wallet, which also appeared to be
Gorgar's, what seemed to be part of an antler. He pointed out to them
that these things were covered in fur. And, he had found one other
thing, he said he had no idea what it was. When everyone else looked at
it, they seemed not to like it much, telling him it belonged outside,
and none of them would touch it. They told him to put it back outside,
but he said he was keeping it there 'til he figured out what it was.
Everyone else seemed very uncomfortable having it near, and wanted it
gone. End of show, no Gorgar, no idea what happened to him (if deer
didn't take him, still possible, but, if not, maybe the pissed off UFO
did), and Just Joe still with the thing he had found, which they ordered
him to put back outside. Which he apparently did, though maybe in EVD's
car. And, just what was this thing? Why it was a hmmunmhmmthph, of course!

SUN DESCENDS To Release New Album In April - Mar. 16, 2008

New York City thrashers SUN DESCENDS, who feature in their ranks former
EXUMER vocalist Mem von Stein, will release their new album, "The
Entropy Formula", in April via Khaosmaster Productions (Puerto Rico).
The artwork will feature an illustration by Sean Taggart.

The first song from "The Entropy Formula" is available for streaming on
SUN DESCENDS' MySpace page. The six-minute track "3 Corners of Hell" is
the group's first new material to surface in the two years since the
band's first full-length release in early 2006.

Commented Mem von Stein: "The music on SUN DESCENDS' new album is as
relevant as the music on 'Possessed by Fire', which I recorded with
EXUMER back in 1986. Let's just hope that the thrash frenzy of today
won't be exploited as it was in the '80s, causing thrash metal to come
to a creative full-stop. Otherwise I am amazed at the comeback thrash
metal has made and I am very hopeful that the new SUN DESCENDS album
will be received positively."

SUN DESCENDS recently announced the addition of bassist KO Thunder to
the group's ranks. Hailing from Istanbul, Turkey, Thunder joined the
group this past summer.

So after a quiet week last week because of the weather, this week should
more than make up for it. Frizz and Dooger will be starting off The
Metallic Onslaught tonight from 9-10. And as far as I know, Jeffie will
make his return to the show. From there, who knows...

On The Last Exit, we will be post celebrating Foul Mouth Girl's birthday
from early last week. I am sure that will go so well for her... Lots of
new stuff to play, and maybe some other surprises...

Exumer Reunion

Members of 80s German thrash metal cult EXUMER began negotiating a full
fledged reunion for 2009. The projected reunion includes a new album,
re-releases of the band's two albums from the 1980s and a substantial tour.

EXUMER vocalist Mem V. Stein of NYC thrashers Sun Descends comments:

"This reunion won't be like the one-off show we played at the Wacken
Open Air, in 2001. This time we will deliver the entire package and
release a new, third EXUMER album. It's been close to 22 years since the
second EXUMER release in 1987 and it seems that the band is still
relevant, especially when you consider the new generation of thrash
metal bands that quote EXUMER as a major influence of theirs. I will
keep SD alive and I'm not abandoning the project but most of 2009 will
be dedicated to a new EXUMER album and it's promotion. We also have Paul
Arakaki (guitars/bass) in the band who replaced me on the second EXUMER
album and now lives in Hawaii. I frequently get emails from fans asking
for a EXUMER reunion and I feel that the time is right to finally go
ahead and make it a reality. We have never played live in North America
and I believe that we owe it to the fans here in the States to see the
band at least once with full-on live production"

EXUMER has not yet decided with which record label to work with for the
releases, but plans to enter the studio to record their new cd in late
2008/early 2009.

Sun Descends' new album titled "The Entropy Formula", will be released
on Khaosmaster Productions in April and on Twilight Distribution in Fall
2008.

is still missing, and um, well, who knows what else is up. Sabbat will

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Because Just Joe was still upset that, 5 years in the future, The Mi-Go
are going to remove his teeny tiny brain from his body and send it to
Pluto, Azkath told him he would negotiate with them for him, see if
something could be worked out. When he returned from doing that, he told
Just Joe that he might not have to wait 5 years after all. That none of
us would... It seems that that which is unspeakable prefers to remain
unspeakable, and, thus, were really pissed off that they were being
spoken about and to. So, now they were outside waiting to take all our
brains. Which meant no one could leave, they were trapped in the
station. After a while of this, Azkath told Just Joe he had fixed
everything, and Just Joe could now go outside, it would be fine. Just
Joe went. Azkath told EVD that, well, everything would be fine for the
rest of them, but not for Just Joe. He had sacrificed Just Joe to the
Mi-Go, telling them they could take Just Joe now, if they would let the
rest of them go. He figured this was all Just Joe's fault anyways, for
all his complaining about his futures and their trying to change it for
him, and now look where that had gotten them! However, the plan didn't
work. Just Joe didn't get taken. He just kept running around in circles,
screaming his head off. Which meant they were all still trapped and not
able to leave, which they blamed entirely on Just Joe. If he would have
accepted his future fate like a brave good boy and not done all that
whining, but NOOOO!!!! I mean, really. Ya big baby! The Feature Artist,
was live classic Motley Crue... And, because I've been speaking of the
unspeakable here, so I could recap for you... Well, now the Mi-Go are
pissed off at me, apparently, and I am trapped in here. THANKS A LOT
LAST EXIT!!!! I was just trying to faithfully recap, but they don't see
it that way, they just see that I'm speaking of them.
HHHHEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! Well, if my brain isn't
removed (what little of it there is, that is) and on the planet Pluto...

Everyone at The Metallic Onslaught took the same pills that EVD took on
The Last Exit For The Lost last week, and so now they are all hippies

meant that there was absolutely no violence, only peace and love, man.
Groovy... PSYCH! Well, partly psych... There was absolutely no metal
played on WEOS this past Friday night, 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM, and there was
indeed hours of hippie music. And no violence. But all of this was
because there was no Metallic Onslaught this week. It was preempted for
one week only for special WEOS programing, a live concert featuring a
bunch of hippie bands... So, join us when we return next week...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

The band Beyond Worlds End was there. Well, 2 of the 5 members were
there. They were interviewed. They told us about their upcoming show,
and 3 of their songs were played. They are a cool band, they rock.

so go check them out, if you haven't already, and even if you have, do
so some more. :) Because Just Joe had been so distraught last week when
he went 5 years into the future and found out he was going to be The
Great Old Ones Puppet, Azkath told him that he had an idea of something
for him that could stop that from happening. Which he would give to him
if a bullet played during TTTP. No bullet. Just Joe asked for another
TTTP, even though they reminded him that, if they did that now, they
might also do it in future TTTP's when the bullet might be something he
didn't want. Just Joe told them to go ahead with another round anyways.
A bullet. Azkath told Just Joe that, if he had an Elder's sign on him,
that would ward away The Great Old Ones. Using his Ritual Knife, he
carved a large Elder's sign into Just Joe's flesh. There was a hell of a
lot of agonized screaming while that went on, and Just Joe passed out.
They revived him to finish the carving. Then, to guard against infection
(because they are so caring and thoughtful!), they cleansed the carved
flesh... With salt water. More agonized screaming. Try whisky, that
hurts a hell of a lot on open wounds, but it is a good disinfectant. Um,
Just Joe, next time, before you ask to receive something, ya might wanna
think about asking just exactly what it is first, especially when it is
being offered by an evil demon. And also especially when you've now
committed yourself to the concept of double jeopardy TTTP's in exchange
for that something (and he probably would have asked for triple,
quadruple, quintuple (if that's the right term for 5), and well on and
on 'til a bullet played, if one hadn't played the 2nd time). Just a
thought. But at least now your protected. There was also a colossal mess
on the floor, tons of blood, as the sign had been large, and there were
actually 2 of them, a tree on the back, and a star on the front. They
made Just Joe mop up all the blood, it was his mess, after all. But he
kept bleeding more onto the floor as fast as he could mop it up. So they
cauterized the wounds... By burning them. Still more agonized
screaming... They hypnotized Just Joe and sent him 5 years into the
future again to see what would happen to him. He was no longer The Great
Old Ones puppet, or Shoggoth bait... But now the unspeakable monsters,
The Mi-Go, had sucked out his brain (which must have been extremely hard
for him to do, seeing how little there is to work with), and shipped it,
(the brain) to the planet Pluto. When Just Joe learned this he became
very distraught again, and we heard that word "unspeakable" an
unspeakable amount of times, again. Don't worry Just Joe, I'm sure The
Evil Demon Azkath will come up with a solution for this problem of
yours! He fixed The Shoggoths, and The Great Old Ones puppet problems
for you didn't he? I'm sure he'll fix this one for you, too! So you can
look forward to that! Old, Classic Megadeath was The Feature Artist...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

In the 1st hour, Frizz, The Dooger, and Bob played all sappy glam love
ballads for upcoming Valentines Day. Then they left to go party. Jeffie
brought a friend (there is a sentence that is really hard to believe!)
with him, and, this time, it actually wasn't an imaginary one... It was
Dave, whom, if you also listen to The Last Exit For The Lost, and, read
the recaps for it, (and, if you don't, you need to start doing so
immediately!), you should be familiar with. Dave apparently not only
likes Just Joe, but he also likes Jeffie, thinks they're both good
friends. Dave! Dude! You really need to find some better friends, this
is just so sad! We need to work on that, a project to find Dave some
friends, ones that everyone else would consider worthy of that word!
Dave traumatized everyone by showing them lots and lots of belly. And
lots and lots of man boobs and nipples. Jeffie tried to lift and slam
him, but couldn't, so he called out Thor to do it. Which Thor did...
Several times. Thor beat down Dave. Jeffie said that he had found Dave
in an insane asylum. Well, where else would you find someone who thinks
Just Joe and Jeffie are cool, and really good friends, and sees nothing
wrong with that!? Then Jeffie discovered something... Dave, for some
reason, is apparently terrified, I mean, REALLY terrified, of...
Puppets. Jeffie kept showing him puppets, a monkey puppet, the pussy
puppet, Bubbles, the squeaking purple bird puppet. Dave kept screaming
and running, no one could believe a man that fat could move that fast,
or how a man that fat could have that high pitched a scream! Jeffie kept
chasing him, trying to make him kiss the pussy, spank, err, I mean,
stroke, err, that is, pet the monkey, and talk to Bubbles. See what a
good "friend" he is, Dave?! All this broke, and apparently, killed,
Dave. As, at the end of the night, he appeared to be dead... Oh well,
he's been that before, and, I'm sure, will be again... And the pill The
Angry Troll took last week had worked, it turned him into the opposite
of what he had been... Now, instead of being The Angry Troll who hated
and wanted to kill everyone, he was The Pleasant Troll, who liked
everyone and everything. However, a night of Dave's bear belly and
nipples cured him of that, he went back to wanting to kill...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Dave had pills... A lot of pills, and he seemed to be addicted to them.
So, for his own good, they took them away from him, which he wasn't at
all pleased about, but then, addicts are never happy with an
intervention, at first, however, in the long run, they'll see it's for
the best. If not, they were just too far gone, hopefully Dave isn't.
However, EVD became fascinated with all the big brightly colored pills.
And he took them... All... And that children is how we wound up with
hippie, 1960's EVD. Extremely mellow, spaced out, and constantly saying
things like "yeah man", and "groovy", all in a dreamy trancelike voice.
Even when being hit with The Boomstick, he said. "ah, no man", in that
same voice. See children, this is why you don't want to do drugs, you'll
become a hippie. And, to Dave, who told EVD to snap out of the '70's
(even though it was all his fault, as it was his drugs that had put him
there!), it's the '60's he is now living in! That's what you get from
these youngins', they don't know their history... Dave was all
distraught over losing his pills, and desperate to get more. To calm him
down, they showed him something to make him happy, I mean, don't monkey
puppets make everyone happy?! And then all the high pitched shrieking,
and hysterical running started again. Dave, terrified of puppets. Ya
know, we should get him together with the member of Rabid who is afraid
of stickers, they can start a club for people who are afraid of
ridiculous things. Plus, it would be fun to get them together, and show
them stickers and puppets at once. EVD got the idea to staple or duct
tape the puppet to Dave's shoulder, so it would always be following him.
Just Joe was hypnotized and sent into the future 5 years again to find
out what happens to him. Since he did nothing, they brought him out of
it... He began running and screaming hysterically. When he was calmed
down enough to sorta talk, he said that, in the future, he is The Great
Old Ones puppet, and that they made him do things, worse than
unspeakable things. They made him eat people, and apparently that wasn't
a good thing, and they made him do sick, perverted things with dead
people. Apparently that wasn't a good thing either. He was absolutely
hysterical. So TTTP was played. If a bullet played, then Azkath would
send, not one, but two, or at least two, Shoggoths after him in the
future, so that the whole puppet thing wouldn't happen. But, alas for
Just Joe(!), no bullet. They tried to snap Dave out of his puppet
hysteria by telling him Just Joe was a puppet, and having Just Joe,
well, put himself all over Dave, 'til he had forced the fear of puppets
out of him. At the end of the night, we had, a still '60's tripped out
EVD, a still frightened Dave, and a Just Joe still absolutely hysterical
over the fact that he is going to spend his future as The Great Old Ones
puppet. Agent Steel was The Feature Artist...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Joe told Josh he had found a present that Santa had left for him back
when he made his yearly visit. Josh opened it, and it was a pill that
was supposed to make him the opposite of what he was. They all said
"Wow, Josh, that must mean, if you take that, you'll become a man!" But
The Angry Troll took the pill away from Josh, and, after taunting him
with it all night, pretending he was going to give it back to him, then
taking it away again, he took it himself. It made him the opposite of
what he is... Sorta... He'd say something mean, apologize for it, then
rant that, no, he wasn't sorry, well, maybe he was, then scream,
NOOOO(!) he wasn't sorry, and, you get the idea. So, I guess the pill
tried to turn him into a nice, pleasant Troll, but it only partly
worked, leaving a very conflicted, confused Troll...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

The Band If Man Is Five were there. Their songs were played from CD.
They performed one song live and acoustic, Pat Benatar's "Heart
Breaker". They auditioned Just Joe to be their new vocalist, he sang one
of their songs. Um, yeah, it kinda defies description. It was mumbling,
hysterical laughter, shrieking, and his Pterodactyl scream. He didn't

are the websites where you can find If Man Is Five. The Feature Artist
was Oxymor, a live concert of them, which they recorded in France, where
they reside. That was cool, and was good to hear as they are an awesome

A message from Frizz and Dooger from The Metallic Onslaught...

" Frizz and the Dooger will be on NEXT Friday, (the 8th,) and it's gonna
be the Extra-Special Valentine's Show. It's gonna be a hell of a party!
ALL POWER BALLADS! WOO-HOO! "

Yeah, take that for what it is. Not sure what is planned for this week's
show.

As for The Last Exit, we may end up with TWO bands up to the show. I'm
not saying who, you will have to tune in and find out, One has never
been there, and other hasn't been up in a while but I guess you could
call them regulars...

** Recaps from Fire Eater Wizard **On The Metallic Onslaught:

Jeffie arrived and said he had brought friends with him. Turns out they
were all his imaginary friends. Which makes much more sense, since no
one could believe Jeffie could ever manage to find a friend. The primary
one, according to Jeffie, was named Gilbert, and, all of them were 9
feet tall. Jeffie had his friends take EVD and Josh away and beat them
down. They took Josh into the bathroom, and EVD somewhere else, they
weren't sure where. Then, the rest of the night was a long protracted
brawl/beat down, with Jeffie provoking everyone, being able to beat on
some of them for a little, but then getting severely beaten down, by
Rick, and everyone else...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Just Joe wasn't there for the 1st hour or so. They dispatched Dave to go
find him. Why, who knows, you'd think one would just accept small gifts,
or, in this case, really big ones, and just enjoy them. When Dave
returned with Just Joe, Just Joe seemed very distraught. He couldn't
remember the past week, and he mostly just babbled jibberish. They
suggested he go into the basement, and just meditate a while, and maybe
he would feel better, and things would come back to him. When he was
down there, they played a Morbid Angel song which has an incantation at
the beginning of it. Just Joe phoned upstairs to say that something had
happened... The incantation had opened the door to a weird cave in the
basement. They told him to explore it and get back to them. Shortly, he
phoned again, warning them that they should probably close the door. He
said a monster, a really bad one, had emerged from the cave. They sent
Dave to shut the door. There was a tremendous amount of screaming "HELP
ME! HELP ME", and then Dave was gone. When Just Joe got back upstairs,
they asked if he had, by chance, seen Dave. When Just Joe got it out of
them that the monster had apparently gotten Dave, Just Joe went rushing
off to save Dave, loudly assuring Dave that he was on his way to help.
Man, that's just what I'd want to hear to comfort me if I was in the
clutches of some horrible monster, that I could rest easy because Just
Joe was on his way to help me. I think I'd rather take my chances
fighting the monster alone! I'd probably stand a much better chance of
actually getting out of trouble, he'd probably just insure that the
monster would wind up with me forever! But, for some reason, Just Joe
and Dave like each other, and, since Dave rescued Just Joe from The
Shoggoth last week, I guess turn about is fair play. Just Joe came back,
saying that he had rescued Dave. Weeellll... That was sort of true... He
got Dave from the monster, but he was dead. See what I mean about Just
Joe's help?! They told Just Joe to try using The Book Of The Dead (there
would probably be one of those in a scary subterranean cave, there
always is) and try to use that to resurrect Dave. Just Joe tried that,
and said he'd succeeded. Again, he was half right, sorta, which, for
him, is about as good as it gets. Dave was alive, but he was only
babbling gibberish, laughing, and talking about cookies and hamburgers.
They played a special song for him, and that brought him the rest of the
way back. Or at least he was back until they started talking to him
about the monster that had eaten his face and all. Then Dave started
babbling again. He would kinda go back and forth between being alright
and not remembering what had happened to him, and remembering and then
not being alright. And he still kept going on about cookies. Atakke, a
live concert from them from earlier in the week, was The Feature Artist...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

Frizz and The Dooger were there in the 1st hour, and they played
WINGER!!!! Josh informed us that he is a proud parent, he has now given
birth to Linda Lavin's baby, and it wasn't twins, just a really big kid,
he also said the birthing process hurt a lot. I'll bet! And, wow that
was a fast pregnancy! We didn't even have time to throw him a baby
shower! Jeffie arrived and told everyone that it was time to re-imagine
the show. Old Joe became Young Joe, Troll Joe a hot girl, Josh a Robot,
EVD and Rick Monsters, Lance was back to being human, and Jeffie was,
well, Jeffie. Jeffie then got scared of the monsters, and Rick beat the
hell out of him trying to knock some sense into him...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

Just Joe spent part of the week in a Shoggoth's belly, as, indeed, as
his screams last week before he disappeared kind of indicated, one had
caught, and then eaten him. However, Dave successfully accomplished the
mission they gave him to perform last week, and rescued Just Joe from
The Shoggoth's belly. Just Joe was still quite traumatized by his
adventure. So they played him songs all night long about Shoggoths and
The Great Cthulhu, to cheer him up and make him feel better, of course,
and to help him forget, because they are so kind, and so hate to see
anyone in distress. The band Armageddon Monks were there for much of the
night, and played a lot of their songs live and acoustic. That was

them. Just Joe spent the night traumatized, and freaking out about
Shoggoths and Cthulhu. So they made sure to mention them as often as
possible. At the end of the night, he was finding imaginary candy and
thinking his body parts were disappearing. Tiamat was The Feature Artist...

Notes from Azkath

Tonight on the show we get to see if Dave freed Just Joe from the
Shoggoth belly. I'm sure he's fine. And I have some brand new surprises
for him. And lots of new music to play. Our feature at 5am will be Tiamat.

Also, tomorrow night, Sunday, at The Haunt, during Goth night, Attake
will be playing. If you like brutal, abrasive metal, don't miss Sam
Arwy's new project. Saw them back at Halloween at Castaways and they
were awesome!

On The Metallic Onslaught:

We learned that Josh is in love with Linda Laven, and that Heather
doesn't even know who that is, and that Josh is pregnant with Linda
Laven's twins. Jeffie and Rick brawled whenever Jeffie didn't do what
Rick said, and Rick gave Jeffie a swirly. Jeffie wanted to tie Heather
to a chair, and when she proclaimed it No Pants Day, he tried to take
her pants off. He wanted Rick's help in doing this, but Rick helped
Heather instead. Jeffie put a bag over his (his own, not Rick's) head
and sang some songs...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

They told Just Joe that a Shoggoth was after him (Summoned by Azkath, of
course), and kept freaking him out, making him think it was near. Just
Joe and Dave made a trap to catch a Shoggoth, but the only thing they
succeeded in trapping in it was a dinosaur, one named Gorgar. Well, at
least they succeeded in capturing AN old one. They kept warning Just Joe
about Shoggoths, giving him suggestions on where to hide, then telling
him the Shoggoth was at hand. Near the end of the night, Joe decided
they were just messing with him, and there never was a Shoggoth. This
was followed by a tentacle grabbing Joe and dragging him out of the
room. A lot of screaming was heard, and it dragged Joe, with Dave trying
to save him, outside, where Dave thought it had eaten Joe. And then
there was no Just Joe to be found... Anywhere... Dave, covered in slime,
became very distraught, crying, as, for some reason, he likes Just Joe
(he's the only one who does), says he's his best friend. Dave, how sad
for you! So they told Dave, if he wanted Just Joe back, he'd have to go
after The Shoggoth, find them, and bring Just Joe back. Azkath gave him
a knife with Elder Symbols on it to help him, telling him it would get
warm the closer he got to the Shoggoth. Dave wasn't too happy with this
prospect, but they reminded him that it was for Just Joe, after all,
and, if he wanted him back, well then, this was the only way. For some
reason, Dave wanted Just Joe back, and so agreed to work on this during
the week. Not happily, but apparently he thinks Just Joe is worth it.
Again, he's the only one who does. Sudden Death's performance at
Nipplepalooza III, also an Xtreme Soundscapes Show, was The Feature
Artist...

It's the time of the year when everyone tells what they did with their
ponies... So everyone did. What? You never heard of that tradition?
Where have you been?!

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

EVD is being punished for his bad behavior, and so was not allowed to do
anything bad to Just Joe, and would have to be nice to him. However, he
could do whatever he wanted to Dave, so Dave received a lot of what EVD
would have liked to do to Just Joe, he got beat down by EVD, and then,
Just Joe, his supposed friend, ganged up on him, too. They put on a play
for Just Joe about the end of the world. There was a fight in the snow,
where everyone brawled, and got thrown in, the snow. In fact, throughout
the night, there was a lot of people getting beat up in the snow. Wet
night... And cold...Since EVD wasn't allowed to touch him, Just Joe did
a lot of things he knew he would hate to provoke him and watch him
suffer from not being able to retaliate. Which, again, wasn't too good
for Dave... ZnoWhite was The Feature Artist...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

As this was the final show of 2007, everyone gave, and played, their top
5 or 6 picks for best music of the year. Well, everyone that is except
Jeffie and EVD, they didn't get to play their favorites, which they
weren't too happy about. When Jeffie arrived, he claimed he was Santa
Claus, and that the Santa who was there last week (who, btw, looked, and
sounded, a remarkable lot like President Troll, they must be related)
was an impostor. Santa Jeffie brought a CD of Christmas music which he
told them to play. They told him "no", but he said if they played it,
then he could leave, so they played it. It contained Christmas music,
including a Christmas track by Stryper, even though, 2 years ago, at
Christmas, Prophet Just Joe brought us God's 11th commandment for the
world: Thou shalt not, under any circumstances whatsoever, ever, ever,
ever, play Stryper! Ever! And, I think he meant that commandment was
more important than all the other 10 combined, including Thou shalt not
kill, it's MUCH more important than that one. When it was finished,
Santa Jeffie was gone... However, Jeffie, now himself again, was still
there, which everyone thought was breaking the deal he had promised.
Lance was there to give his top picks of the year. Jeffie said that
Lance was an alien, and so they needed to kill him. They told him Lance
had a body guard. But, unfortunately for Lance, and his body guard, who
was Tim, he formerly of Victory Records, and now of Century Media, the
body guard wasn't much help (body guards never are on this show, Just
ask Jeffie, who once hired Zoltan to be his, and that turned out very
badly for him, but then, what can you expect? I mean, it was Zoltan,
after all, how else could it turn out?!) And other MO members have tried
to hire body guards, and it never works out, and this one didn't buck
that trend. Jeffie tied up the body guard, dragged him on the floor, and
gave him a rug burn. For WIJP? there was a vibrating cell phone, a
dollar bill, and, a purse, it was played more than once. There was a lot
of brawling, including one where 3 people went around and around and
around in a ring. And, there was a slap fight that involved people
slapping and smacking each other with a glove... Join us again next
week, to begin a whole brand new year of the experience that can only be
The Metallic Onslaught...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

In addition to the regular hosts and co-hosts, Gorgar, Ian The Yeti, and
Tim, the one formerly of Victory Records, and currently with Century
Media, were there. This was the final LE of 2007, and it was an award
show, The LEMMY's, Best Last Exit performances of hosts and co-hosts
throughout the year, and some for the people who were there this night,
were handed out. Everyone present got a LEMMY, and yours truly got one
as well, best host of the chat room. I'd like to thank all the people I
stepped on, trampled over, blackmailed, threatened, to get this award, I
shall treasure it always, thank you all! I never could have done it
without all of you! I love you all! Or, to copy Sally Fields in her
famous, or infamous, oft made fun of, Oscar's acceptance speech, "I
guess this means you like me! You really like me!". Or, in my case, "I
guess this means you tolerate me! You really tolerate me!". Just Joe was
hypnotized and sent 5 years into the future, to see if he could tell us
any more about how the world ends. He said it was horrible, the stars
were right, and The Old Ones had returned to destroy the human race. He
became so upset, that he ran screaming into the street... Where he was
hit by a car which did not so much as stop but kept right on driving.
EVD seemed really concerned about Just Joe, which is a real 1st for him,
it's never happened before. He rushed him to the hospital. Dave was
extremely concerned, as he likes Just Joe, and so kept crying for him.
In a while Just Joe was back. They could not get any more out of him
about the end of the world, as all he would do was babble about
unspeakable things. Although they were eager to hear about these
unspeakable things, he refused to say any more, just that they were
unspeakable. So, you heard it here, people, the stars will be right, the
Great Old Ones return, and the human race ends in some unspeakable way.
Oh yeah, and it's unspeakable. So, people, no need to thank us for
bringing you this good news! You are very welcome! Just think! We have
so much to look forward to! It will be SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! However, Just
Joe, apparently, didn't seem to think so, but that's just because, as I
have said often here before, but have not said for a while, but it still
is just as true, just, you know, well, it has been the holiday season we
have been in, and are about to leave now, so, I guess I've been trying
to show some holiday spirit, and at least make an attempt to try to be a
little more kind and charitable... But, we are leaving the holiday
season now, so I'll say it, as it applies here... But that's just
because (all together now, say it with me!) because he's really stupid!
EVD said Just Joe had stolen his car to get back there from the
hospital. He chased Just Joe into the street, and tried to run him down
with his car. Azkath told EVD that was a bad thing to do, and, because
of that, they were taking back his award, and regiving it to him as the
award for worst co-host ever. EVD said that was it, he had had enough,
he was leaving, and he stormed out. Oh yeah, did I mention... IT WILL BE
UNSPEAKABLE! UNSPEAKABLE!!!! The Feature Artist was Vicious Rumors... So
join us again next week to begin a brand new year of The Last Exit For
The Lost...

Tonight on The Last Exit, well, I believe it will be the first ever
LEmy's, where we give out some awards. And we really should follow up on
what that phone call from the future was all about last week. The
feature artist at 5am will be Vicious Rumors...

On The Metallic Onslaught:

It was the Christmas Show, lots of Christmas metal and comedy Christmas
songs along with regular metal. Santa was there, making his yearly
visit, and there was an elf. Santa's hat was what was in Jeffie's pants.
then a phone, and a boot. Jeffie had everyone pose for sexy Christmas
pictures. He played his version of a Christmas song on the bongos. And,
of course, what would Christmas be without lots of brawling...

On The Last Exit For The Lost:

It was The 5th Pre Anniversary End Of The World Show. In addition to the
regular hosts and co-hosts, Gorgar, Rub Mc'Groin, Chris from the band
Castle Bravo, and, Handy, The Hand Puppet Of Doom were there. Apparently
Handy is rotting and falling apart, as he kept talking about how many
new holes he has in him. Dave kept lifting his shirt and showing
everyone his fat belly and huge nipples. In the spirit of the holiday
season, they had a festive crown of thorns, actually made of red barbed
wire, but a festive holiday symbol nonetheless. Because of the way TTTP
turned out, Dave got the honor and privilege of wearing it. EVD snapped
due to the run of bad luck he's been having, and because he didn't like
his Christmas present, a Rob Zombie CD. He kidnapped Dave, held him
hostage and threatened to do horrible things to him. When no one seemed
to care if they got the hostage back, EVD and Dave took over the show.
When Dave played Rob Zombie, EVD killed him. Using a spell from The
Necronomicon, Rub resurrected him. However, he was resurrected as Santa
Claus, (complete with the ho ho ho's (so sorry to all girls for the use
of the word "ho", but in this case it refers to Santa's laugh, not
whores) and a loud bell which he wouldn't stop ringing), and so got
killed again. Or at least they tried, but Santa doesn't die, so everyone
beat the crap out of him, and then nailed him to a cross. Gorgar took
great pleasure in nailing Santa to the cross, as he became enraged when
he recalled that Santa has deer, 9 of them. The proper use of The
Necronomicon brought the real Dave back. Just Joe got thrown down the
stairs, and trapped down there when the barbed wire was strung across
the bottom of the stairs. Good thing for him it's winter time, and so no
spiders, this should be remembered for when it is warm weather and there
will be spiders down there. Wait... Isn't that mixing up the holidays??
Crown of thorns? Nailing to a cross? Resurrection? Don't those go with
Easter, not Christmas?? Oh well, who knows? This is an evil, metal show,
so what do we know about these holidays?? So I'm probably wrong anyways.
And, in the spirit of the holiday season, there were lots more beat
downs for Just Joe, Dave, and EVD. There was lots of seasonal music
played, Christmas metal, Christmas black metal, comedy Christmas songs.
And, for the background music, the most evil thing of all, The
Teletubbies, as this is a truly evil show. Just Joe got a call from
himself from the future, telling him how to stop the end of the world,
but he lost himself before he got that message, so it is still slated
for 5 years from now. All he got is darkness, no sun, and old ones. Oh,
and unspeakable horror and pain. The Feature Artist for this 5th Pre
Anniversary Count Down To The End Of The World Show was Bathory. So,
everyone, enjoy your life, remember there is, at most, 5 years left in
it. Of course, you could always meet your demise in some unexpected,
horrible, slow and painful way before the scheduled end of the world in
2012, so, you may not even have that much time left in it. One never
knows, does one? HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! :)

Due to inclement weather, it was a pre recorded show, featuring Best Of
clips from various past Pre Anniversary Count Down To The End Of The
World Shows, as the 5th Anniversary one will be next week. The Feature
Artist was Detante and Fear Of God, to mark the 11th anniversary of both
those bands's vocalist, Dawn Crosby's death, and it also featured an
interview that The Demon Azkath conducted with her, back in '94, also
the year he became the host of this show, and it became The Last Exit
