Hello. I am posting this here because DEF LEPPARD is one of the
mentioned artists/bands. I wanted to let you know that I have
started a petition to VH1 to ask them to run a show on VH1 or VH1
Classic featuring the newer "post 80s" (1990-2002) music made by the
classic rock bands. Please read the petition, and sign it if you
think that it is a good idea.
If you know of any other person that likes music from the bands of
the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s, please forward this message on to them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
At the bottom of this message, I am listing a small sample of musical
artists and bands from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s that have put out
new music after the 1980s ended. If you know of any classic artists
that has put out new music (after 1990) that you feel should be
included on this kind of show, feel free to mention them in the
OPTIONAL "comment" section.
If such a show were to be created, I wouldn't be surprised if several
more of the old favorites would come back (because they would know
for a fact that there would be airtime for their new material).
The address to the petition is

Thank you very much.
