ALOHA everyone. Sorry this is partly off topic....  As most of you
know I moved back to Honolulu last week (Wednesday.) We should be
here about 3 years.  I have my first guest booked to come out this
summer in June for a month.  I know a couple of others are coming
around the HMA's. We are not sure when we will get into housing.  I
told some of you if you come over and need a place, let me know.
Well, we are renting a one bedroom place but it's living area is
REALLY large (for Hawaii) The 2 bedroom we looked at right before was
smaller by 160 sq ft!

Anyway... the reason for telling you guys is NOW that I'm here if you
are planning on coming to the island let me know. (send me e-mail at
Kathyboast@...)  I can use ANY Excuse to go see Danny again.
Speaking of Danny, I have to say it was not in my plans when I left
to go see his show the first night in, but at the last minute dad
asked me to come and I was told there would be a surprise for me!! My
friends were there greeting me back to the islands!! Danny put on
ANOTHER GREAT show.  This time he did a few Elvis songs. He REALLY
did a great job!  We were cheering and having a grand ol time.
Allison was there sitting with us and he asked her to come up and
dance to the Hawaiian Wedding song.  She actually sings that better
than she dances hula to it, she can give you chicken skin.
  I am going tonight to shoot for a feature for Aloha Joe Magazine.
Look for photos over at www.alohajoemagazine.com coming soon. We
really want to help get the word out so, IF you are a Danny fan and
would like to write about the show on your blog or something but you
need photos, let us know.  I'll be happy to share (as long as they
are being used with ALOHA - that's my #1 rule) And I know some of you
like having them for your computer slideshows. That way you can show
your friends and get them excited.
Let's think up some ways that WE as fans could maybe get the word out
about Danny's show.  I'll have special gifts for some of those great
ideas we can use...

are down.  Any way, I love this "scary" story it is histerical!
Ever since I first read this "scary" story it has been my all time
favorite! It is just histerically funny. Enjoy!


The Viper

A widow lived alone on the top floor of an apartment house. One
morning her telephone rang.

"Hello," she said.

"This is the viper," a man said. "I'm coming up."

"Somebody is fooling around," she thought, and hung up.

I too pray that Hurricane Flossie stays out in
the Pacific Ocean and leaves Nani Hawaii alone.
Any time a major event touches Hawaii;
I am touched personally.

I got a special notice so I made it over here and saw this post.  You
know we folk from Hawaii like coming to Vegas.  I'm hoping to get out
your way next year maybe.  If I do I'll look you up.

   I saw on another post you asked about going to see another another
OT show.  First off, have fun and before you go check and see what
kind of photography rules they have.  Like on Danny's new show it
says no Flash photography same with the video, but I saw people using
flash at his show when I went.  Depending on the price you want to
pay for a camera and what you want it to do with it will depend on
what kind of camera you should get.  Also how many photos do you want
to take, ect. I know some here take a lot of photos and they too may
have their $.02 to add for you as well. If you want any pointers you
can write to me and I'll answer the best I can.  Also I might write
to you about Vegas before I come.

I'm going to an off-topic show July 28th, the first in
a long while, and I'm wanting to know who uses what
kind of camera to take pix of the show.  I'm needing a
new camera, and am wondering what works for all of

Would love to see you come my way--Vegas, baby!  We've
talked our ears off but haven't met face to face yet,
so would love to meet you.  When I moved here almost a
year ago, I took a two-week vacation to get
evertything.  I budgeted five days to get here, taking
time to see the landscape as I'm driving and not rush
to get here.  I made it four, so I got to see the
Fremont Street Experience from my hotel room (Four
Queens, which is in the Downtown area) the dya before
I officially moved in.
Would love to meet you, whether it's on your way home,
or visiting you in the 50th state.

ALOHA all...

I thought it might be interesting to see what CDs you guys own and
which ones are your favorites.  Also which ones would you like to
have if you don't have them all and why.  Maybe it might be so you
can give one to a friend or to have an extra in the car or maybe you
don't have one with the older cover or maybe you really wanted one of
the first of the THEN AND NOW CDs that came out (which has a slightly
different cover)

  Being that I'm MOVING back to Hawaii I won't have the space to keep
5 copies of the SAME CD.  I have some CDs that have cracked or
missing covers (but the CDs are still there and working), I have a
few of the original I LOVE HAWAII CDs (with the cover of him laying
on his side) and a couple of his other CDs.  So if anyone wants to
mention which CDs they have and would like to have and I happen to
have an extra copy maybe I'll send you one.  I DO NOT have extra
copies of the new CD.  I have my 2 copies.  BUT if someone has a
really good story, who knows...  I might just order you one!  :)

You DO NOT have to be a member of our group to be a part of this.
You could e-mail me at DannyCouchFan@... and give me a good
story.  If you want to post your comments here with our group so we
know you are one of us, that will trump over someone who is not a
part of our group.  The idea with this is to welcome others to join
us.  We love hearing from NEW Danny fans as well as fans who have
been fans since
Danny was with the Aliis or even The Rolling Coconuts!

ALOHA Danny Couch Fans!
  I'm so excited!!  I saw Danny's new show on June 13 (Wednesday
night) and it was a pretty FULL crowd!  Danny sang Lots of great
tunes. IF you have NOT been able to make it to Hawaii yet since he
started the show... I tell you what... THIS SHOW (and I have seen him
at the Hale Koa, KONA, poolside at the PK and a few other places) is
FAR the best.  Danny got better over the years we didn't get to see
him perform.  So remember that old statement... SOME THINGS are WORTH
the wait... and WE (Danny Fans) know HE is WORTH the wait.

Danny sang some of my favorites including the song FALLEN...  See for
me it was because I saw that song (plus the cover) on his Almost
Paradise CD  that I decided NOT to buy the CD ONE YEAR (almost to the
day) of actually MEETING-MEETING him.  I put it back because I LOVE
that song and you know how some artists just can't match the original
song, well, I didn't want to be disappointed in the CD because of
that song... (REMEMBER... I did NOT know who Danny Couch was)  Of
course a YEAR later I heard it and it's one of my FAVORITES that he
sings.  (Did you know that at KUMU 94.7 FM in Honolulu they replaced
the original song and used DANNY'S version instead) Depending on my
mood Fallen sometimes TOPS THESE ISLANDS for me as a favorite song.
So to be able to hear him sing that one just MADE my missing Monday
Night WORTH the 2 day wait...
   He also sang the A L O H A song.... I LOVE that song!  And (IMO)
it's BETTER with DANNY singing it!!!  I will have some photos posted
soon (but not to soon) It's really hard to shoot someone singing and
to capture them without a strange look on their face. Plus how many
photos do you REALLY want to look at?  So I'll go through them and we
will be sharing them with ALOHA JOE Magazine and doing a special
feature on Danny's new show.

If you have seen the show and would like to "talk" about it, let us
know... We welcome reviews from fans who want to share.  Speaking of
Fans, we would like to welcome some new folks to the group.  We hope
that you will share our group with some of your friends.  Remember if
we start getting to chatty for your liking, remember you can change
your preference to get daily digest or No Mail or only special
postings by the moderators.  Hope everyone of you guys gets to
see/hear Danny's new show.  It was WORTH my +5,000 mile flight over.
I just can't wait to MOVE back to Oahu (early fall 07) So if you are

tickets. They are a little cheaper than going through Danny's
website. (Sorry, that discount helps me to pay for another drink) I
did get to hear the show 3 times via cell phone and also heard
practice and I can NOT WAIT to see the LIVE SHOW on Monday. Hope you
guys do get to see Danny's show on a Monday or Wednesday night. If

Just a friendly reminder!

If you haven't done so already, please don't forget to vote in the
Hawaii Music Awards! Don't forget to vote for Danny's new
album, "Danny Couch Sings The Great American Classics."  His CD is
the last one shown on the first category.  He is also on Aloha Joe's
Compilation  "Aloha from Paradise."
Remember, you have to go through the whole voting process and add
your e-mail adress in order for your vote to count. If you have more
than one e-mail, vote more than once...  Have your friends vote too.
