Description

A site devoted to the discussion of German art song, from Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven to the present day, including orchestral songs. The primary focus is on discussion of recordings by historical and contemporary singers, as well as reports of live performances. This is not intended to be an informational site for singers, although naturally practitioners are welcome to participate. While the primary language of the group is English, messages in German are also welcome. I am willing to translate them at the request of the writer or other subscribers.
