Hi there, all! I've just come into posession of a Linn 9000. No
sampling option, no floppy drive, a couple faders need replacing.

But...

I'm loving the "feel" of the sequencer, and most of the sounds are
pretty usable (except, of course, the kick drum.)

A friend of a friend has an EEPROM burner for sale, which I'm
considering picking up. Is it worth it?

I've checked out forat.com , as they're still supporting the 9000,
but all their prices for parts, mods, etc. seem really exorbitant.
Anybody know of some more realistic sources for parts and mods?

Thanks for your time, and let me know what I can do to help the group.
