My mac bit it and lost every email for the last don't know how
many years, SO, this is why I'm writing to the group instead of
just to those who've corresponded with me on this in the past.
Have an Oberheim Prommer that needs a little TLC, probably
just a battery and ?
Before the battery went it was buring Linndrum proms (2732)
fine, but had a problem seeing/writing to 2764's : oberheim dx,
midibass, tom, etc.
The service manual is downloadable off the net or i could hook
you up with it. I have the Prommer itself, a BUNCH of eproms
and a bulk eprom eraser with a timer that goes for well over a
hundred dollars.
Was thinking to start up a business and use this to move some
great samples from my Fairlight to the Linndrum, now fear I may
never have the time to contend with this project.
Anyone still care to take it on?
$250 obo gets you the lot : Prommer, Eproms, Eprom eraser,
link to or pdf of manual/service manual.
You'll probably need time, some soldering and tech skills and a
love of vintage drum machines.
