There is no problem! I've just spent 2 weeks to change
the Battery on the LINNDRUM. This was not so easy! I
had to find the right references for new
battery....then I had to unsolder the bad battery.....
very hard work with an old machine...then I had to
find new supports leggs on the IC for the new battery.
Solder the Legg on the IC the Solder the battery on
the Legg !
After that My Linndrum was still bigging at power ON :
LED LIghted for 5 minutes. So I cleaned the Battery
IC ...... no effect

But after 1 week, I don't understand why , my LINNDRUM
has a GOOD poWER ON : no more latence time at power
ON.

A big THANKS ALSO to FORAT : they replied at each mail
I've sent them!

batteries ALL of the POSITIVE sides
should be facing LEFT and the NEGATIVES face RIGHT.
Bruce told me that all of the early
LinnDrums used to have a battery holder that went + -
+ and then they switched to
soldering it directly.

I've also switched the one battery in my own LinnDrum.

I am sorry for the misinformation. I would also like
to make the following corrections:
