Welcome to the latest edition of What's Lisa Up To Now? The big news of
course, is that Lisa and her band will be warming up the audience for the
STING show this Sunday August 20th at Coors Amphitheatre in San Diego.
They will play from 6 to 7:30 pm and then during the Intermission. A
real treat for all of you going to that show. Lisa is way beyond excited.
It's going to be a great show!

For those of you in the San Diego area, you can catch Lisa and two of her
close friends at the Ramona Fair this Saturday, August 19th. Laura Preble
performs from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, followed by Lisa from 1:45 to 2:45,
then stick around for the wonderful Peggy Watson from 3 to 4:15 pm.
Admission to the Fair is Free so come on out and enjoy the day.

Hey Northern California, get ready. Lisa will be doing two shows at the
Main Street Pizza Station in Guerneville on September 16th. And don't
lose heart if you're not in any of these areas, stay tuned for possible
exciting news in the upcoming months. Thanks to all of you who responded
with venues for Lisa to play in other cities.

As some of you may have noticed, Lisa's web site www.lisasanders.com has
been down for the last week and a half. The host server crashed and they
don't seem to be able to fix it so we are moving the site to a new host.
Give us a few days and hopefully it will up and running again very soon.

Congratulations to our winner of the last trivia question, Lizzie Wann of
San Diego. She was the first person to guess correctly that before moving
to California, Lisa's family lived on the island of NEWFOUNDLAND. Though
I must admit Labrador was a darn good guess from many of you. Lizzie is
a major supporter of local San Diego music and in fact hosts house
concerts. Lisa and her good friend Peggy Watson, will be performing at
Lizzie's home in Golden Hills next Thursday, August 24th at 8 pm. Seating
is limited and reservations are required. You even get dessert and
beverages. This is a very intimate setting with no PA - a real one-on-one

Look for more exciting news to come. In the works are an Eve Selis and
Lisa Sanders concert at The Belly Up Tavern. Lisa's song This House will
