Thanks to all of you who voted in the various contests. Lisa was named
Best Acoustic Artist of 2000 by the San Diego Reader.

Lisa will performing this Monday, October 23rd at Cane's Bar and Grill in
Mission Beach. This is a benefit for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Other performers included Eve Selis and Gregory Page. The show starts at
6 pm and Lisa goes on at 7:30 pm. For more details go to

As a heads up, Lisa will be at Twiggs on November 10th with Diane Waters
and she will be headlining the GoGirlsMusic Fest on December 16th. This
will be a benefit for domestic violence shelters. More details to follow.
Also, Lisa's song, "This House" is featured on the SETS102 compilation
CD which will be available in a few weeks. Several shows are planned in
conjunction with the release of the CD and the accompanying 2001

Tune in to www.worldmusicradio.com on Fridays from Noon to 1 pm Pacific
Time to the San Diego Showcase show hosted by Rick Heller and Chris
Klich. Rick and Chris have just taken over the show and renamed it "This
House". Lisa is honored that they have chosen her song "This House" as
the theme song. This is a great show to learn more about all the
incredible talent in the San Diego area.

Congratulations to Karen Freels of Maplewood, NJ, the winner of the last
contest. Lisa and Karen had a great chat on the phone and became fast
friends.
