1) To use the Live-styler with a NON XG synth is a lot of work. The solo (right hand) stuff is fine, it is the accomapment that will not sound right. Voices will not becorrect. You would have to edit every style

2) Touch screen omputers will work great!
3) Yes, I use footswitches all the time to control the Live-styler
