I am currently checking out on Live-styler OMB and jammer live.....
Now i must say that Live styler looks vey good...
Can i play piano style with the chord recognition over the whole
keyboard, just as on the Tyros 2 ?
What future updates are planned for live styler?
Thinks i would love to see and can't find in your manuall :
-Import from roland and Korg styles (which offcourse can now be
archieved by using styleworks..
-Implementation entation of audio use in the styles, like real drums
and the stuff ketron is currently doing..(i think audio and audio
tuning is the future of styles)
-changing pitch and speed of MP3 files and wave files
-Implementation of a seccond MP3 player/wave player/midi player and
the abbility to mix these in real time as on some current top modell
hardware arrangers.
-Markers, the abbility to set markersin midi files and jump to that
point in real time.
-Will further development lead more towards giving Live styler its own
identity with features that surpass current and future hardware
arrangers or will it stay more in its current form as a software tool
that plays .sty files
---------------------------------------------------------
Has anyone seen the linux project Qtractor, which is developing an
arranger that is a cross between an arranger and a sequencer with
audio tracks usable in the Qtractor. Those audio tracks, these audio
tracks are pitched and formed to follow the played chords...Qtractor
is developed under the GPL, so the source code is readilly available
to have a peak at....
To allow for the best possible playback of files it would be awesome
if someone could develope a vst that copies all the sounds of Yamaha
T2 (or T3 later this year)including mega and SA voices so everyone
gets the best possible playback experience. (And also vst's copying
Roland E80 and or KORG PA800)when playing back files copied from
Roland and/or Korg styles... But then this would probable need a whole
team of professionall sound developers..But it would give everyone the
best possible style experience, but this will probably be allways
wishfull thinking..
