Notes played on the pcr80 are abruptly cut off when I release the keys - the natural decay of the sound is wrong.Fiddling with the ADSR in Hypersonic doesn't seem to solve that problem.Is it aglobal setting somewhere?
In single-finger mode, when playing a two-note minor chord, the second I take my finger off the keys,it seems to revert to or trigger a major chord, but it does this erratically, not every time.
I downloaded free PSR8000 styles and with some of them, there is erratic dropout of drum notes. I don't think this is a polyphony problem as I tried with an Edirol sc8820 hardware soundmodule(128 voice)with same problem.Maybe some of the styles are suspect?The live styler also makes the 8820 jam up.I bought Jammer live some time back and athough it doesn't have the potential versatility of Live styler, it seems much more stable and I don't have any of these other problems. I use midi yoke(it's quite an old version, I think...could it be a problem?
I have a slow net connection and twice I tried downloading the manual I was told after about 4 minutes that the server had done a reset and download was stopped.
Any way you can help would be appreciated..also If you can give me suggestions to set up the pcr to control style selection etc with Live-styler, or point me to an existing article
