Hi,

I'm using an old Roland D-10 as my controller and Edirol Hypercanvas
as my main VST instrument with Live-Styler.

Your controller keyboard could be the problem. On the D-10 under its
midi menu is an option for 'MIDI Transmit All Notes Off (MIDI TxAll N-
Off'. If this is set to its default (ON), I can get the same note
clipping / key dropping you describe. Without going too deep into
midi technicals, I think this is midi active sensing (looking for
300ms pulses). If it thinks something is not right, an all notes off
command is issued with the described effect.
