I don't think that is really possible, but if you do not find a solution somewhere else, you can always add a custom operation to the file when you right-click it in the browser.
You can do this by opening Windows Explorer, menu Tools-->Folder Options-->File Types-->(click on the STY file type)-->Advanced-->New
Then add a new Action, by entering name like "Open in Live Styler" and the path to the LS executable.
After this, every time you right-click on STY file you will have the option to "Open in Live Styler".
