Dear Friends:

Some of you may know that the original owner of Luthier at
Yahoogroups passed away in 2005. He committed suicide and it took a
few monthes to realize that something had happened.

Before he died I accepted his request to become a co-moderator and
have been happily doing so since then. However, because of his sudden
death, it is impossible to transfer ownership which leaves the
possibility that the Luthier group would become derelict if something
happened to me or I decided or needed to leave the group.

I have therefore decided to start another group called "LuthierLife"
at this address:

Please join there and reply if you want to continue in the spirit of
a friendly and informative group which will be open to all luthiers,
amateur and professional, who wish to share their experiences and
learn from others'.

Information, perspective, history and humor are the watchwords of
LuthierLife.
