Welcome to the one and only Enigma user group!


Please feel free to ask any and all questions you may have about Enigma and/or
MIDI controller setup.

However, there are some important guidelines all members must adhere to:

1. CHECK OUT THE TUTORIAL DOCS IN THE FILES SECTION AND SEARCH THE MESSAGE
ARCHIVES BEFORE ASKING A QUESTION.

There is a chance that the question you are asking has already been asked and
answered by others, so please make an attempt to see if the answer has already
been provided before asking the group for help.


2. DO NOT EMAIL OR IM GROUP MEMBERS PRIVATELY WITH TECH QUESTIONS!

If you have a question (even if it's directed toward a specific member), please
login with the yahoo ID you joined with and send it to the entire group so that
the eventual solution can been shared by everyone. However, you're welcomed to
communicate with other members privately for any other reason.


3. IF SOMEONE TAKES THE TIME TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, FOLLOW UP

. . and thank 'em!

If someone answers your question and it's the answer you were looking for,
PLEASE reply to the post and let the group know that this solution worked for
you. . . it would also be nice to THANK THAT PERSON for helping you (but that's
your call). If the info someone provided didn't help, please politely let them
know that you're still trying to find an answer, and THANK THEM for trying
anyway. If you happen to find a solution on your own after posting a question,
reply to your own question and post the answer, to help others with the same
question.


4. WE BELIEVE IN THE BUMP!

The Yahoo Groups format can make it difficult to keep track of anything more
than the 5 most recent posts. If you post a question, and 48 hours later you
haven't gotten a response (or haven't yet gotten the answer you're looking for),
don't be afraid to reply to your own thread and just say something like "bump!".
Adding anything to your thread in the form of a reply will "bump" the thread
back into the groups conciousness. Please don't abuse this though, give
everybody a good 48 hours or more to reply to the most recent post before
bumping.


5. SPREAD THE WORD!

If this group has helped you out, do this community a favor and let others know
about it. Tell a friend who might have something that works with Enigma, or
(better yet) post a link to this group on a forum (that's how most of you got
here in the first place. . .right?). Let other people know how the group helped
you and what kinds of things we talk about here. The more users whe have, the
better the whole process works.

If you ever have trouble navigating someone to this group (say they're in
person, or on the phone, and you don't want to give them the whole URL
verbally), just keyword "maudio" at the groups.yahoo.com mainpage. This group
will be the first result of that search.


Always feel free to drop the owner/moderator a message if you've got an idea you
think might make this community better.
