A forum for MACA members to share and listen to the joy of Carnatic Music and to serve as a platform for healthy exchanges with other musicians and rasikas in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) , Canada and outside.

The group's objectives are to:
1. Provide information about programmes, talent and teachers
in GTA.
2.Share the joys of Carnatic music. This could mean sharing some rare concert tapes.
3.Share information about Carnatic music events. This could be anything from letting everyone know about an upcoming concert anywhere in GTA to nurturing an active discussion on a music-related topic.
4.Act as a forum for teachers and students : This could be a forum where we can develop a database about teachers in various neighbourhoods in GTA. This could benefit students who are looking for teachers and teachers who are looking for students.
5.Let others know about the cool music websites you have identified and are using.
6.Talk about music and a forum for sharing your opinion about music, concerts, musicians .
7. Assist music study circles , music teachers and other organizations/persons interested in fostering Music in GTA and help them in organizing events such as chamber music concerts, Lec/Dem-s by visiting artists and special events on a regular basis focussing on different musical themes and such.

The forum is open to ALL Carnatic music rasikas ...especially
those in GTA.
