This moderated group email list is for the purpose of promoting artists and arts groups in Minnesota who perform and present arts from traditions of the Near East (Including North Africa, the Levant, Turkey, Persia, Persian Gulf, Central Asia and the Indian Subcontinent). It also announces visiting artists in these traditions. It is sponsored by Minnesota Global Arts Institute. You are welcome to send notices of performances that are relevant. We mostly do not post fusion performances. This is not a forum for political discussions.
