Reply | Forward Message #244 of 392 |
A "MinneapolAsian" music ensemble featuring A. Pavan (tabla), Troy
Berg (djembe, udu, kalimba, etc.), and John Wright (bass) joins
guitarist/bouzoukist/composer Greg Herriges to showcase his new
release - It Plays Me - and create eclectic new music together. The
music is a fusion of Western, North Indian, Middle Eastern, and East
Asian elements (with a small dose of surf-rock). Expect full-scale
arrangements of music from the CD, new pieces, and pure improvisation.

When: Friday, July 29 9:00 pm

Where:
Center for Independent Artists (part of the "Frinj of the Frinj"
performance series)
4137 Bloomington Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55407

Admission: $10.00
All ages are welcome.
