On this lush and mystical journey through Egypt, North Africa, and
Spain, you'll encounter traditional and contemporary dance works,
performed to fabulous music, celebrating the brilliant results of
centuries of cultural exchange. Accompanied by a collective of eleven
talented local musicians and six dancers, Margo and Colette share
their vision, revealing a time when Jews, Gypsies, Christians, and
Muslims created art of joy and profundity. That these layered
influences thrive yet today proves neither borders nor time can ever
erase the enduring beauty of collaboration.
