"Beyond the Crescent Moon" opens tonight at 8pm at the
E.M. Pearson Theatre at Concordia College.

Ethnic Dance Theatre takes a look behind the headlines
and through the veil to share the joy and sorrows of
our Islamic neighbors around the world. Smell the
kabobs, see the minarets and graceful arabesques
through the exotic, exhilarating and romantic music
and dance of Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Bosnia, Albania,
Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt and
Afghanistan. Live music performed by the EDT Folk
orchestra, with guest artists from the Schubert Club
Gamelan Ensemble.
