Join Voices of Sepharad for a view of North Africa and the Middle East which you
will
not read in the newspaper. An international cast of artists celebrates the
entwined
relationship of Sephardic Jews, Muslims, and Christians. Creating a mosaic of
music,
dance, poetry, and folktale, "Peace in the House" illuminates a history of
neighborliness which bound these communities together for hundreds of years.
This once-only performance is on Sunday, July 9, 8 PM in Hamline University's
Anne
Simley Theater. Tickets are $10 and should be reserved in advance at
651-523-2240
or nzmora@.... For more information, visit www.voicesofsepharad.com.
This event is sponsored by the Hamline University Civic Education Project.
