The first night of this two-day event consists of screening two
documentaries by the Iranian Director, Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, portraying
the lives of musicians in Iran. "Back Vocal" represents Iranian female
vocalists and "Off Beat" relates to underground rock musicians. The
documentaries shall follow with a lecture by Mamak Khadem, a female
Iranian vocalist, who will speak of her own personal experiences.
The second night, the 11th, shall be a performance of world music by
Mamak Khadem and her band presenting a fusion of the music of Armenia,
Turkey, Greece, and Iran.

* Admissions are free for the 10th while tickets for the 11th are
priced at $25.00.
* Students will receive a $5.00 cash back at the door if they arrive
30 minutes prior to the concert (7:30 pm). Presentation of a valid ID
is required for confirmation of the tickets purchased online.
