Hi from Kansas, USA!
Thanks for posting, Cookie!!
Renaud, have you or will be be attending a concert?
Cookie, that's interesting - Joy actually did sing with Sting on "Whenever I
Say Your Name" when they performed in Kansas City - I was blown away. The
guy who reviewed the show for the KC Star said basically that Joy couldn't
compare to Mary J. but I thought it was breathtaking. Annie sang with him
on "We'll Be Together" and that was wonderful.
Shape of My Heart *really* was amazing. Wish i had gone over to try & meet
Dominic.
I'll post the song list shortly - I don't have it handy right now.
The ones I can think of off the top of my head, not necessarily in order,
are:
Shape of My Heart, Seven Days, Fragile, Dead Man's Rope, We'll Be Together,
A Thousand Years, Roxanne, Sacred Love, This War, and others.
Was hoping he'd do Inside but he didn't....I don't think he did Stolen Car
either, or Mad About You - 3 of my favorites.
I just got the songbook for "Sacred Love" today though!! I try to play
guitar, and was happy to be able to do "Inside" pretty well from the
beginning.

Hello From USA... Pennsylvania
I was in the 4th row for the July 28th concert. Sting looked wonderful and
he
was in a fantastic mood as well... even flirting with the ladies in the
front.
Actually, Dominic opened the show the evening I was there with an
unaccompanied solo performance of "Fragile." He then told us that someone
would be
joining him on stage (who has been his mentor and brother for many years).
Sting
walked out on the stage and sang along to "State of My Heart." It was a
thrilling
experience, to say the least.
Just before Annie was due to go on stage, Sting walked out to the
microphone
and said, "It's me again," and then smiled broadly. He introduced Annie,
and
walked off stage. I was very impressed by Annie. Her voice never changes,
and
I'm very jealous that a woman her age can still look so wonderful (not
that she
is ancient or anything). She must work very hard at maintaining her
figure.
As for a duet... Annie came out on stage to sing with Sting during
"Whenever
I Say Your Name." She was good, but I prefer to hear Joy (Sting's backup
singer) sing the song with him. She has a fantastic voice.
Hope this answers some of your questions.

Hi from Belgium
Did somebody of the list see the concert Sting and Annie Lennox?
What do you think about it?
Which were the songs which they sang?
Did they sing in duet?
Renaud
