Welcome to Maiden New Zealand !

After seeing various NZ'ers on the alt.rock-n-roll.metal.ironmaiden newsgroup, I figured it would be a good idea to have a mailing list. It was originally intended to be a temporary one from May 2000 until after the Brave New World tour, covering news about the album, singles, tour, and anything else about Maiden. We all know now that the tour, touted as including Australia/New Zealand, didn't happen in this part of the world.

I then put it to the members that would they like to continue the list as a Maiden list, continue it as a more general Metal list, or have it closed down per the original intention. The support was there to keep the list running, and preferably as a Maiden only list. That extends to Maiden related stuff most notably including Bruce's solo career etc.

So, pretty much any Maiden related chat is fine, members of the fan club may want to share any interesting bits from the fan club magazines, talk about the last Iron Maiden gig here in 1992, let people know where they've seen stuff like the 1st 10 Years EP's for sale, etc etc etc. And of course there is the 'files' section of cool stuff for people to download from or upload to.
