I have 2 extra tickets to the sold out shins show on Wednesday at
Maxwells in Hoboken. A short ride over from Manhattan.
I'm asking 42$ which is what I paid for them. (17 each plus 4$
charges each)
The show is Wednesday Oct 22nd.

I was browsing EBay, and saw a Chutes too Narrow press kit, and noticed that
Neal wasn't in the photo.  I browsed the Shins website photo gallery, and
there's a pic of 'Dave, the Shins original bass player'.  And check out the
attached photo from subpop.com

I hope it was an amicable split

Most of it is a walking bass style strumming of G, A, and B (all
barred).  And the "solos" are really simple tremelo picking around 5th
position of the A,D,G and B strings.

Here's a link to the a "Pressed in a Book" tab.  I've tried it and the
chord voicings are somewhat accurate, but the progression is different
from what this shows.

FYI:

You can catch the boys at the ACL Music fest www.aclfest.com and they
will be playing a night show at Antone's as well.

They have all kinds of airline and hotel deals going on right now if
you're up for a vacation.

Soulseek is great for rare shins.  I've also got the Flake "Spork EP", and the
Scared of Chaka spilt 7" (both transferred from vinyl to computer myself, so
it's quality) but they're currently available for purchase through Science

I just uploaded 3 tracks I've never heard before to the 'Rarities' folder. 
They're from Flake Music's 1997 Cargo Records 7", and are what appears the be
the last released recordings of the band before they went completely into the
Shins.
