Special emphasis is placed on keeping things simple enough for teenagers and intelligent children to understand. The means and methods of 12tet are not entirely ignored but are taken as a reference point in trying to understand the intricacies of microtonality in all its manifestations and forms. It is interesting to note that 12tet music can also be inverted as well as subjected to all sorts of microtonal transformations. It can also be expanded (stretched) and contracted.
