Techniques for making microtonality more understandable and microtonal music more easy to create and perform. Special emphasis is placed on keeping things simple enough for teenagers and intelligent children to understand. The means and methods of 12tet are not entirely ignored but are taken as a reference point in trying to understand the intricacies of microtonality in all its manifestations and forms. Posting the details of educational websites is encouraged and scholarly articles are welcome providing that they are not too far above the understanding of intelligent teenagers. It is interesting to note that 12tet music can also be inverted as well as subjected to all sorts of microtonal transformations. It can also be expanded (stretched) and contracted.
