I had the same problem when I bought a Roland second hand pedal. It as a SPDT switch. All that I had to do is unsolder the wire on one end and soldered it on...

That's what I thought. We use the word 'polarity' pretty loosely here. I don't know which way the Mirage wants the switch but most synths are 'normally open'....
