This is the reply I recieved after after signing the petition re. MusicDance licensing. The responce took about six months - if memory serves. So do not dispair if you do not hear from HM gov. for a while, when making a complaint. (By law MPs/Ministers have to answer your letters [no time limits!] - but you probably know this already!)
So, the email I recieved:
