Singer Aneta Barcik with the legendary Oud player Abdul Salam Kheir
...people are calling her the “Polish Fairouz”, after one of the greatest Arabic singers of all time....
Aneta Barcik, born in Poland, studied at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg and received a scholarship.
She is now devoting herself to Middle Eastern and Arabic music. Aneta has an authentic and supple voice, and is an engaging performer.
She has recently been touring Eastern Europe with Abdul Salam Kheir.
Abdul Salam Kheir is a legendary Oud player, classical Arabic singer and magnificent songwriter from Lebanon.
He recorded together with the rock legend Led Zeppelin and composed film music for many productions,
including “Marie de Nazareth”. He met Aneta in 2007 in the Embassy of Egypt in London, where they gave their first concert together.
