Dear All,
Jenni plays @ Kings Place, Hall One

November 4th. 19.45
It's a privilege to announce the opening of the LIFEM festival - that is :
I have been invited to open this four day festival at Kings Place as one of only two composers from the UK, representing the UK within an international arena.
"Jenni Roditi moves from minimal to maximal through distinctive composition and genre shifting voice.
Singer, composer, big canvas creator, vocal extender, emotional engager, her music defies definition and simultaneously creates it own."
- LIFEM
Jenni Roditi - piano and voice
Bernard Greenwood - violin
Neyire Ashworth - clarinet
Kate Shortt - 'cello.
Our programme consists of five pieces I've written in the last few years :
Trust the Moment - for piano, voice, violin and cello.
The Poet - for piano and voice.
Home - for piano, voice, violin and cello.
Love's Song - for piano, voice, clarinet, violin and cello.
Into the Stream - for piano, voice, clarinet and cello.
This is surely the biggest gig I've ever been booked for - and certainly my piano playing is getting its biggest outing to date.
To play in this beautiful hall is quite the most exciting thing I can imagine!
You can book your seat on the King Place website - this link takes you straight to the right page.
There are 'saver seats' available for £6.50 online.
I do hope you will be able to come and I very much look forward to seeing you!
Warm wishes,
Jenni
PS Listen to Podcast 2 on the LIFEM website where you can hear more about the festival, hear parts of Into the Stream and listen to a short interview with me about the music.
PPS - The concert has already sold around 150 tickets - but it's a huge hall - with 500 seats - so please come!!
