RoGue Receives 2005 Los Angeles Music Awards Best R&B Artist
Nomination
Los Angeles, CA (May, 2005) – EMK Productions is pleased to announce
that ROGUE has received a 2005 LOS ANGELES MUSIC AWARDS BEST R&B
ARTIST nomination. Now in its 14th year, the Los Angeles Music
Awards is the longest running major awards show for independent
artists in the country.
Hailed as "impressively inventive" by LookInside Magazine, RoGue has
proven to be a worthy contender among Los Angeles' myriad of indie
bands. The band hit the airwaves when their first single Mr.
Finnelly debuted on "The Upper Room with Joe Kelley" on WVOF FM.
After the release of their second single "Play The Game" on KCLA,
Dirty Dave recommended the band for a Los Angeles Music Award
nomination. "It's great being recognized alongside such a wide
range of talented musicians," says Krystle of RoGue.
The band's debut release, "TOUCH & LINGER" is currently available at
cdbaby.com. The CD includes 9 tracks including the band's first
single, Mr. Finnelly as well as fan favorites The Tree Song, Alone,
and Crushed Silly. RoGue recently released the single from their
sophomore album, Play The Game. The band recently performed at Art 4
Thrillz in Los Angeles.
This marks RoGue's first award nomination. Other bestselling
artists previously nominated by the Los Angeles Music Awards include
No Doubt, Everclear, Sugar Ray and The Black-Eyed Peas.
