The Instrumental Christmas recording is now finally done and by mid October you can order thru http://www.johnsheehan.net/CD%20Order%20Info.htm   Covers are being printed now and CD duplication should be completed at the end of next week. The title of the CD alludes to my first all instrumental album and is called “Instrumental Solo Christmas Guitar.

Why not pick one up for Halloween! Scare the kids that come to your door with Christmas music! They’ll think you’re insane!

 

Oh also, I’ll be sending a copy of the tabs and notation to Hal Leonard publishing for possible publishing. It remains to be seen if they are interested in the entire collection. They did express interest in my blues arrangement of “Silent Night”,however and would like to see the other nine arrangements.

Linda did a great job on the cover design and Neil Keough of Wizard printing (rt 23 Pompton Plains) has worked out barter for guitar lessons for the printing cost. Our living room couch was also acquired through lesson bartering through Palisade furniture, of Englewood.

 Sorry for those of you who showed up at Rohdes Ringwood Inn Friday September 16^th and noticed I wasn’t performing. That night the tv show,”Queer eye for the straight guy” was filming in the restaurant. No, I’m not in the episode. Very funny! They commandeered the entire place so I sat at the bar and drank for an hour. Chris Rohde , nice guy that he is payed my bar tab and gave me the entire nights fee and I didn’t play a note.
