SINGER SONGWRITER STEFANIE SESKIN'S DEBUT SOLO APPEARANCE AT THE
STONE PONY

As the mesmerizing lead singer and songwriter for blue number nine,
Stefanie Seskin is no stranger to the stage, but on December 10th
she will break new ground as she gives a live debut of her solo
material at The Stone Pony (913 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ).
Seskin's performance is part of "On the Brink" a night of music
presented by the New Jersey Music Hall of Fame with proceeds going
to benefit the Monmouth/Ocean City Food Bank. Stefanie Seskin will
hit the stage at 9:00 for the $10 show which will also feature Lisa
Bouchelle, Exit 105, Dibs and The Churchills.

Fans of blue number nine have become quite familiar with Seskin's
strong, sexy voice. Seskin and bn9 have been playing together since
1995 but in 2005 Seskin decided it was time to do something a little
different and released "The Edge of Reason," her first solo album.
While Seskin's Solo material maintains the same sensual lyricism and
energy as her bn9 compositions, "The Edge of Reason" presents
Seskin's lyrics as the star of every song and uses electronic
elements, loops, and samples to create a unique and moving
atmosphere.

Seskin's compositions range from soft and airy to downright sultry,
demonstrating an understanding of a variety of genres without being
limited by any style in particular. On "Chill Now," Seskin delivers
a jazzy performance that almost sounds like an ode to inner city hip
hop flavor, while on "I Just Keep On" Seskin delivers a performance
that speaks to the heart of rock, with a passionate chorus that
reverberates in your head like a dream.

For her live solo debut, Seskin has enlisted the talents long time
collaborator Marco Accattatis on Bass and Vocals. She will also
feature Victoria Warne on guitar and vocals, Jeff Witt on keyboards,
and Ken Serio on drums. With her band mates, Seskin will perform
songs from "The Edge of Reason" demonstrating the energy and
integrity that earned blue number nine their loyal fans.

"The Edge of Reason" has been gaining attention since its release in
early 2005 and, On December 10th, fans will get their first chance
to hear Seskin's solo material live while they enjoy a solid night
of music at The Stone Pony. Real music fans should take note: "The
Edge of Reason" is a perfect example of the evolution of
singer/songwriter music, and Seskin is one of today's most brilliant
stars.
