We'll be having our next drumcircle fire of the
year,weather permitting, Saturday, August 27, 2005.
(future 2005 dates: 9/24 and tentatively
10/22, pending travel plans and weather)

Thanks to all that have been coming to the circles so
far this year. We had over 50 people the last few
months, and a good time was had by all. This being the
last one before labor day, I anticipate a lot of
people. Because of the numbers of people, and our poor
abused septic field, we have rented a portapotty and
will be asking for some donations to cover the cost.

We look forward to seeing you again this month!!

What: Remember when there was drumming around a fire
in the middle of nowhere? Our drumcircles aim to bring
that back.

Our focus is on the dancers - and the magickal
interplay between dancers and drummers when it's
working. If you have any friends who like to say
"how it was back when...", invite them to this one.

Bring drums, percussion, chair or blanket to sit on.
Please bring any extra firewood you can for the fire,
but please don't buy those awfully expensive
plastic-wrapped bundles from 7-11 or safeway. We will
accept other donations, as well.

It sometimes gets cold, so please remember to bring
blankets, lawn chairs, warm clothes.

When: Saturday, August 27, 2005, 8:00 til midnite or
perhaps later.
Unless otherwise invited, please arrive no earlier
than
7:00.

Where: West I-25 Frontage Rd, 1.5 miles north of CO-52
(I-25, exit 235). If coming off I-25, go to the west
from the exit. Take the first right (north) after you
get off the freeway (there's a light and McDonald's
and the gas station are on the left as you do this).
If you are coming from Boulder, come east on CO-52,
turn left before you get to I-25. Mapquest or
maps.google.com knows us as 7543 W I25 Frontage Rd,
Erie, Co

It's exactly 1.5 miles from when you turn north
onto the west frontage road until you get to our
driveway. There will be a sign which says "drum
circle" near the driveway. If it's dark, look for the
green tape on the mailbox post and posts on either
side of the driveway.

Responsible drinking is encouraged. Some folks have
difficulty drinking rsponsibly when it is readily
available, so please only bring alcohol for yourself
and your party.
