RHYTHM HARVEST, an ensemble formed by legendary percussionist Montego Joe, draws on the rhythms of Africa, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Haiti, Brazil, the Middle East and American Jazz to create a unique aural and visual experience in non-traditional music, dance and song. Montego Joe has worked and recorded with such artists as The Fifth Dimension, Nina Simone, Herbie Mann, Dizzy Gillesgie, Art Blakey, Abby Lincoln, and Max Roach. Joining Montego in Rhythm Harvest are percussionists Robert Stoy, Vivian Warfield and Manny Ramos; keyboardist Naoko Ono; vocalist Sachiko Brown; dancer Dwight Fitzgerald; and bellydancer/percussionist Basmah El Enabrin.
