Yep - we're knee deep in contest preparation! Wellington City Chorus is
having a workshop this weekend with Virginia Humphrey-Taylor, which includes
a "contest dress rehearsal" at 5.30-6.30 on Saturday. So if anyone would
like to come along... we're at our new rehearsal venue. That's the
Wellington Bridge Club, 17 Tinakori Road, Wellington (right next door to the
Katherine Mansfield house; there are two Bridge clubs in Tinakori Rd and
we're the one closest to the bottom of Tinakori Rd).

Antony - if you know of any quartets that would like to sing - there's a
slot. We'll have the chorus plus all competing quartets from Wellington,
but plans for a couple of good college quartets to sing have gone awry, and
it would be great to have someone else on the programme to allow our
quartets time to change, (and perhaps to provide some male voices?).
