I have just received a new cool and slightly CD from Holly & Brian Beck
and Gwen & Jon Smith - members of the Kindred Spirits mixed quartet.
Thanks to the generosity of this quartet for their CD Swing & Pray. I
have just uploaded the tracks onto the Encore Internet Barbershop Music
Show. This CD is not totally barbershop but sure is great A Cappella
music and as the members are barbershoppers in the most part I am sure
you will enjoy the tracks.
I can recommend this CD to anyone.. If you are interested listen to it
on the random play sequence of Encore. or alternatively contact Holly
or one of the others in the quartet and place your order. I can assure
you it is a cool CD and worth a place in your collection.
If you are not aware: Gwen & Holly were members of the Acclaim! SAI
quartet and also in the Rich-Tones an SAI Champ Chorus. Holly is also
Renee Craig's daughter. Brian has been singing Barbershop since he was
6 and has a number of Champion Quarte Gold medals to his name. and is
currently singing with the infamous Vocal Majority. Brian is also an
arranger of some note (no pun intended - yeah right!!!) Jon has sung
in a number of barbershop quartets over the years.
