Dear NNB Members:
Ya'at'eeh! I hope you all had an enjoyable break from
music. Gosh, do we have a busy schedule this year!!! My appreciation
goes out to the members that participated in the Fort Mojave Tribal
Band's Centennial Celebration. The Navajo Nation Band is once again
getting our reputation known.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!
ALL NAVAJO NATION BAND MEMBERS/TWIRLERS AND FLAG
CARRIERS…..this year for the 85th Annual Inter-Tribal Ceremonial the
NNB will be marching in Navajo Moccasins throughout our
participation. NNB Director, NNB Drum Major and NNB Flag carriers
will be the ONLY designated person/s to wear Navajo Moccasin up to
the Knee. All NNB members & twirlers WILL wear moccasins up to the
ankle. (Including ALL Gentlemen)
The very beginning of the season there was voluntary
rehearsals that took place outside the reservation to benefit each
NNB member. This upcoming year, PLEASE start making the effort to
attend voluntary and paid rehearsals for the NNB. This is to ensure
a very professional marching organization and improve on your
