Hello NTMA family,

I would like to start an NTMA New Thought Songwriter's Circle in Houston.
This would be a support meeting in which songwriters could come together to play
new material, ask for feedback (or not; individual choice), network, and share,
or even come just to learn more about writing New Thought music.

Don't know if you're a songwriter? That's ok, you're still welcome.

If you've never been to a group like this, what typically happens is that
everyone who chooses to brings either their instrument or a recording of their
latest song, passes out lyric sheets, and lets the group hear it. Usually this
is done for positive feedback, and the person tells the group if they are
looking for feedback on a particular part of the song (ie; lyrics, melody, song
structure, a particular line, a transition, general feedback etc.). If you
don't want feedback, you could still benefit from this group.

I'd like to hold the first one on Sunday afternoon, April 23rd. Once I see
who wants to join us, and what part of the city everyone is coming from, I'll
pick a place that is as central for everyone as possible. I'm thinking 2:00 for
a time.
