B FROM NME GIG GUIDE
Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately your listings will NOT be included in the NME gig guide unless you go and submit a listings form. This is due to incredible demand to get mentioned in NME's gig guide, the live listings section in the world's biggest and best music weekly. This is an automated response Cat Goodwin // Listings Editor // NME 020 7261 5755 // If you know of any changes to this information, please e-mail the correct details to gigguide@nme.com with the subject line "CHANGE" and let us know the updated gig listing. http://web.nme.com/gigs |

C Nightnews gigs on s1play and in The Herald
Pretty soon, we're going to stop accepting gig listings by email. However, there are two ways in which you can continue to have your clients listed on s1play and in The Herald. The first is to use the upload form at www.scotlistings.com This is the preferred method, but isn't really suitable for people who want to upload lots of gigs at a time. It does, however, allow you to upload video clips, which an increasing number of bands are finding to be a useful promotional tool for their live gigs. The concept is more YouTube than MTV, so quality doesn't need to be great - 30 seconds of video shot on a mobile phone can sometimes work really well. You can also upload MP3s here. The second method is to fill out a spreadsheet. This means that we get all the information we need at one time, and it's in a format that we can upload straight into the system. If you're interested in this method, drop me a line and I'll send you a sample spreadsheet. http://www.scotlistings.com |
