Curios return for another one off event at the bongo club at the end
of June. Curios began as a Saturday night pre-club slot at what was
once W.J. Christies on the West Port. Since moving to the bongo club
in 2000 we have been holding irregular nights where we create indoor
worlds for the clubbers amusement. In the past these have included
Neverland, The Carnival of the Dead, Spacehoppin' (outerspace) plus
prehistoric caves and a fairytale forest.

This year we take you into curios' back garden. Play under the trees
or on the swing with the hidden children of curios. Dive into our
pond, swim with the fish, collect algae on your feet or enjoy a
frozen refreshment from our in house ice cream van!

Our music policy has always been eclectic and unexpected and over the
past year have had DJ's and musicians of different genres coming
together to build one night. This time we are going back to our
musical roots. Techno, electro, funk, ambient and many old classic
surprises and more will be mixed up together. And of course our
brass, percussion and string sections will be jamming along with the
DJ's. As always the two rooms will contrast throughout.

Costumes are always more than welcome, in fact there is discount if
you do dress up! Come dressed for a garden party; in gardening garb
or as whatever takes your fancy.

We are also happy to welcome aboard `Pointless Creations' who will be
creating tailor made visuals, animation and projections. Info
